Roger is really greatest tennis player ever.

When I remember that one year ago, when he was 3rd and much younger players Nadal and Đoković were on fire he said "I'll just have to train harder and get back to number 1 and win Olympics gold", I thought he is out of his mind :D

Now he is 1st and playing Olympic finals.

Amazing

And he looks like a fantastic personality.

Sry for taking mix double bronze to Denmark, but we really needed that medal. Apart from the reinstated womens double teams, all badminton quarter finals have been asia (China, Japan, Indonesia, S. Korea, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Taipei, Hong Kong) and... Denmark ;-)

We are 5 million Danes, so we are quite outnumbered here - a medal was nice though! ;-)

I like being überweak. Better than being überstrong. It will take me couple of months to get back on the top:)

Anyway about Olympics. Federer, one of my favourite athletes on this planet is showing his top game. I actually like Murray aswell and I will feel sorry for him if he would lose tomorrow. About a month ago he lost to Federer in Wimbledon Grand slam, so tomorrow deja vu will happen:)

It's a fourth gold for the British Track Cycling team in women's Team Pursuit, and another world record time of 3:14.051.

3 British girls (begin 20) take more then a second of the world record in a sport that is about tenths and hundredths of a seconds. Will they also be accused without prove of using doping like the Chinees Ye Shiwen and American Ledecky?

To be honest I don't care about Olympics anymore...I only watched 1 voleyball match and that's it.

Same happens with soccer, players with double nationalities and/or (grand)parents from other countries which gives players the right to represent more countries as the one they are born.

Ideal, also in soccer, would be that someone can only represent the country where they are born. But OS rules should be at least the same as in soccer, ones an athlete represented 1 country it should be impossible to ever represent another country.

One Polish guy who won a golden medal yesterday said that he might represent another country in future due to the fact that he must think about his future, ergo money

What if you're born when your parents were on vacation? Or if your dad worked 2 years in for instance Singapore, you were born there and then moved back to the Netherlands. You'd be pretty Dutch to me.
