Is someone actually trading or thinking about it?

In my opinion it really helps you to understand how the economy works (economy is nowadays a huge part of politics) if you are interested in for example indices, currencies and so on.

Maybe we can discuss it to some part here, without political aspects.
An opinion here is only directed to how the markets will develop in the future, not which politics is best.

At this point, in my opinion the German Dax has reached this years height (maybe rises a maximum of further 50 points at most). The European debt crisis is far from over, the economy in Germany is not growing as it has the months before.
The Brent-Oil is overrated with more than 115 $ because of the slow economy.

The current financial crisis that has been started in 2007, has as base the "cazino effect", actually the 2007 financial crisis has the roots since 1970 when the volum of the derivatives without real support overruns the totality of the active support in the market, this was the principal cause of the crisis.

The financial crisis that we named it as contemporary is just an component from 3 or 4 moments of world financial recovery, point reached in March 1998 and will continue until probably 2018.

Outgoing the 10 000 DJI points it will be create with production or launching masswide new technologies, products or services with bigger added value that can rebring the world emerging for a bigger period of time.

As an trading advice, go with the Friday trend.

PS. i don't give advices, everyone invest in his own way, this is just a debate thread so every screen i put here isn't an investment recomandation.

Look, that's my EEG! :P

What are you talking about, the Dow, the USD/EUR?

That the economical circumstances in the next 20 years will increase is pretty obvious.

I talked about the current crisis in the first part, and below i posted the morning signal on USD/EUR, 2 different things.
PS. i deleted the screen, i think isn't a good idea to put screens here.

Btw, how do you like to trade more, with complex strategies or going clasical with japanese candlestick and clasical TA?

gold and silver... the best current investments.... :-)
2012-09-14 22:28:14
Yeah that is what I meant.

USD/EUR situation is getting more complicated with the ESM and the FED pumping even more money in the market.

I trade basically with the background of my knowledge in economics and accounting concerning stocks (therefore I analyze the companies and the branches I am interested in and then decide on the one which seems to have the best potential, talking about longer term investments / I am pretty good in german accounting and IFRS so that is more like a hobby of me).
I use TA from time to time, but my knowledge there is limited.
Therefore for currencies and commodities I basically only work with economical reasoning and news I get through the internet or papers.

depends on what you want, it certainly is not for everybody.
2012-09-14 22:33:43
just profit without risk :-)
not good for everyone maybe....

A main contributor to German economics said about 50 years ago that economics, stocks etc is 50% psychology and then the rest.
So you always have to have an eye on this aspect as well.

Well it is not that easy, the price of gold has increased significantly over the past 5 years and also (slower though) over the past 30+ years.

But it is around an all time high for quite some time now. And if you trade in shorter terms than 1+ years buying gold is not the main option for profits.
2012-09-14 22:44:08
So you like more the FA, long term investments it's better if you want to keep it as a hobby not as primary money source.
Personally i like more the short term, every morning i'm watching at like 100 charts and I choose the one that has potential. I usualy use clasical TA combined with clasical japanese TA.

800 to 1600 than to 1850 and in next year maybe 2100....cos Cine chuan oil trades, gold currency attempts and US printing methods ....

in % it is much better than bonds :-) and no risk of bankruptcy..but just in case you buy real gold, not just papers about ownership.
2012-09-14 22:50:28
No my primary money source is auditing ;-)

I just wouldn't have the time to look at 100 graphs every morning and then decide on them.

I go short term with selected currencies and commodities (about 5 I keep an eye on daily). And sometimes with stocks, if I smell somehting like with the german court deciding on the ESM money.

Are you trading daily or longer terms?
2012-09-14 23:11:23
I usually search for brokers moves and going with them, but sometimes when i see something interesting i go long term too.

Are you basing it on Analyses/Forecasts (which are usually ~12 months as far as I know) or how do you see the broker moves?
