Never thought this was going to happen on 500m. Winning medals with this 500m event is still kinda new for me, but this clean sweep is once in a life time I think :D

Well yeah, when your national sport is an Olympic sport, it's easy to get medals ;-)

Speed skating is a Dutch sport with some foreigners. It's nowhere near being an international sport.

They invested very well in Ice Skating and now they get the prizes
Just like Britain invested in Track ,Road and Bmx (cycling) They got a lot of medals won
since they started investing in it !

It's not a coïncidance i think !

Our government (Belgium) invests only in Soccer and see where we standing (we maybe have a golden generation now, but we still have to wait and see !)


all our other sport associations have financial difficulty to give a proper professional sporteducation.
