And do you know that your champ Koen Verweij lost with Bródka who is the fireman in normal life? :P

I wonder how much time he spend being a real 'fireman' last few years .... I think he saw more ice as water. Being a 'fireman' is probably a good job to spend most of his time training and not working (working as in doing his job as fireman).

And yeh, shit happens .... instead of 1 gold medal it is 1 silver medal, and 16 more medals :) And that's not all, tomorrow maybe 3 more medals with the 10000m speed skating, or at least 2 and 1 will be a gold medal :D And Thursday the 5000m ladies is also at least 1 more medal, and Friday and Saturday is the team persuit men and ladies so even more medals for the Netherlands.

Lucky Nederland that there is so many skating competitions in other hand I think it would be 0 medals by your team ;p;p;p;p

It doesn't have a thing to do with luck, all Olympic athletes, also the Dutch speed skaters, work hard to be the best. And there is no 'in the other hand', it is how it is, it is our sport and at the moment we have a generation winners, even more as in the past. And because of these winners more will follow because they want to be the best too and they will be trained by the best, and then more will follow etc etc.

I like Poland, win a gold medal or do not win a medal at all :D

Beside, Swiss have ice, even more natural ice as we in the Netherlands, so many Swiss can start skating even cheaper as we can. In the Netherlands we can only skate mostly indoor because of the short periods it's cold enough outside for natural ice.

So maybe the Swiss should change their focus, stop skiing, it's not that successfull as it ones was (many years ago ;P) and focus on the new sports and speed skating. Many more medals to win ;D

EDIT: Even better, focus on langlaufen, speed skating and short track, when successful in these 3 sports, it is a guarantee that country is number 1 in the medal count at the end of the Games ;)

we beat Slovakia I belive they were 4th in last Olimpic I dont know what you want more for country with 2 milions people :0 It is very amazing win with only 150 profesional hockey players in our country hah I belive that we will defeat you as well in this Olimpic:D
