Subject: European Union
I don't think those people are too concerned with how them leaving impacts the economy back home.
I think the European Union is a imperialist organization with the main goal to make the rich western European countries even richer, by exploiting the poor countries in the world. I am deeply proud of living in a country which has taken stand against this insane, selvdestroying project.

if you mean corporations and banks I agree: citizens don't feel richer....
I would like to come back to the spirit of the first years..
The failure of the bad constitution could be a new start.

Yeah... I really admire Those countries:
Iceland
Norway
Switzerland
Liechtenstein
why?? because they are not member of EU but are highly developed. I think in those countries people are clever enough to govern thier countries and for example in Poland, on the contrary, people don't know what to do with their country.
I also thought and believed that EU will help Poland. And it helps. But Poland wastes so much money that EU gives...
And one guy here said that people from e.g. Poland, Chech Rep., were going to England or Eire and Ukrainians and Chechenians were going to Poland. I have also observed it. Poles have their paradise in England. Ukrainians have their one in Poland.
As far as EU is concerned my opinion is that it's generally good organization but it has many many disadavantages. Now it seems to be too bureaucratic. They (members of Europarliament) only sit and talk and nothing results from that. Rich countries stay rich or became even more richer, Slovenia develops rapidly, Chech Rep., Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Estionia, Cyprus, Malta, Slovakia start to develop and Poland stays in its backwardness. And the differences are still deepening.

I always thought it was to support the French farmers :/
I've got a family in Germany, and they sometimes come to Poland on holiday. One day they were just talking about Great Britain. What I've heard?
"They aren't from OUR UNION, they don't have euro!"
I replied:
"We don't have euro too, but we're also in the EU..."
"Yeah, but you're not in OUR EU..."
Well... I didn't know what to say ;)

Yeah, of course I ment corporations and banks.. ;)

No. We aren't prepared for that. Maybe in 2010... ;)
You know, it were the Benelux that started it? :)
That is, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg :)
That is, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg :)
When the politics went to make EU, they say " blah blah, this will be easier to communicate, travel and trade between countries blah blah...'
Now, we got it (I vote against) and what?
As said upper in the forum, the only thing we see is that the rich get richer and the rest of EU get nothing. oh! , i forgot, they pick up the most unsocial rules in each countries to try to give us a constitution....
EU is good for 1% of population: bosses ( and i mean only BIG bosses even not little shops...)
Ah: And they say that was to be competitive face of USA: But they don't have bollocks (spell like that?) to do nothing, and we know that england is the way in for US in EU (Sorry for english-men, i mean governments...)
Conclusion: Money for the rich and wind for the other... How can we decide something whne 25 countries battles for their own (France for farmers and fisher for ex.), Germany for something else and so on.

and not only you(Benelux) didn't you forget about France, Italy and Western Germany?
as far as Euro is concerned: we'll probably join in 2011 I think.

I think that main problem of EU is that:
High donations to French and Polish agriculture
Advantages of UK in EU
FRA-GER aspiration to lead
money wasting to lazy people from south Europe, Czech Republic and some others...

I had mentioned those countries before ;p
Official 6 that started it, correct, but we 3 came up with the idea (just not official yet)
