Subject: European Union

It was just an exemple from the double standard in the defense of freedom of media in Europe.
All media must be free, except when it harms my interests.

Another exemple: a few years ago Med tv broadcasted from Belgium. After pressure from Turkey, the the station was banned further broadcast for a few unclear reasons.
LOL. :)
this is the greatest problem, that only 20% of the news can be crimes? and its valid only for the three national channel. who cares? personally i like it. i'm fed up with murders, accidents and violence. i would like to watch in the news about policy and society etc. if the hungarians wouldnt like to see it, who are you to say that we arent do that?

every state has different rules. if you cant tolerate it its your own problem.
in belgium the commercials are regulated. why? why isnt free the belgian tv? we have in hungary different rules to SAVE OUR CHILDREN. mmmmmkay my friend? SAVE THE CHILDREN! clear?

i give up to wrestle with you. you wouldnt like to understand what is the greatest problem with this law. (the polical freedom).
and every time is the similar state: what is allowed to you it isnt allowed to us (regulate the media).

You know my opinion about wikileaks, for me, that is theft of information. And taking unnecessary risks.

I don't know Med tv, so I can't say anything about it.
Regulation and regulation are two you know. And I'm not in the position to do something about that law, but luckily the European Commission is. And they will do something about it. I guess this is another difference between Western and Eastern Europeans ( as the UK, France and Germany have reacted strongly on the Hungarian Media Law ).
Public debt: $2,890,410,959
Public debt per person: $322.96
Population: 8,901,369
Public debt as % of GDP: 6.7%
Total annual debt change:-0.3%

pls inform how the french media system works before judge us. ;) in france the media is regulated strictlyer than in hungary.
but as i told you, what is allowed to france its not allowed to hungary...
(edited)
Then show me how strictly the French media is regulated. Enlighten me.
That makes sense in this discussion ...

(edited)
Yes, but as I said, regulation and regulation are two. Don't think you're the only one who reads.

Why are you so engaged to Hungarian media law ? :P As zastarovje said, a lot of countries got a regulations :P

all media is regulated - the question is whether Hungary's regulations are too draconian and anti-free speech
For the third time: regulation and regulation are two.
(edited)
Finally someone who understands my POV.
And I'm not engaged :p
