Subject: European Union

2006-08-01 13:31:49
Having too many countries with a not improved economy is very bad for workers of important countries because they lose their job because companies transfer their production in other countries.
2006-08-01 13:48:12
Yeah EU is to big I think. From those 10 new countries only Slevenia deserves being a member.
2006-08-01 14:07:05
they would transfer it anyway, it has nothing to do with the european union
2006-08-01 15:28:42
I agree, it has nothing to do with european union. For about 5 years they will go more east without asking about EU or non-EU membership...
2006-08-01 15:30:38
i was in European Parlament this year.. in Turčianske Teplice .. :)) From school

What do you think about the foreign diplomacy?
We did not reach an agreement at the EU level to adopt a common position regarding the events in Middle East (please do not write here about this conflict itself, is it bad/good since other posts are dedicated to that topic).
I think this lack of common position is bad for EU's image. On the other hand, we'd better not agree than agree on a "wait and see" position.

Helle everyone,

First I'm sorry because I did not take enough to read evreything you read.
To follow and to introduce my ideas, I may say that EU is firstly an Idea who will take many and many years befor to become a Reality as we seem t =o see her (EU)... The big problem (compared to USA or ancient sovietic nations) is that our countries have a very complex and diiferent history... So many wars, so many battles happened on our soil (Europe).. For religion, for economy, for political strategy, for power of some european leaders since ten centuries anbd more... Each country (or almost) have its own language, its own culture^, tis own view of philosophy, economy, culture for her society... EU was created to be able to enter in the world of the open market, to face to others nations, to protect their citizens... It's a good start but from my point of view, I think (It's the same view for what happen in France) that the leaders (executive chiefs of great companies, leaders of nations, high level lawyers) do not really know what the people want... They are in their world ... The World is now divided into 3 parts... The Kings (Presidents, kings of nations, presidents of companies), the Sheep (the richest nation citizens slept by the first above) and the Slave (the poorest in the world who can't do anything but wait to die and look the game of the first ones)....
I do not give solution excepted to find any second of freedom in a day and any second of happiness with with yourself and persons who are near from you...

I hope that my english would be understood by you otherwise I see how many EU is difficult and the World in general to take place in our lives.

Take care of you.

And today Montenegro received candidate status...

Actually:
- Candidates: Croatia, Iceland, Macedonia, Montenegro, Turkey;
- Applied for EU membership: Albania, Serbia;
- Potential candidates: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo (?).

Croatia and Iceland are close to join, maybe 2012 or 2013. All others are expected to join between 2015 and 2017.

All others are expected to join between 2015 and 2017.

even russia can be a member one day but not turkey :)
2010-12-17 18:28:01
turkey's dreaming hopelessly but we cant join eu
its impossible :)
they only detain us heheheh
2010-12-17 19:35:12
i suport turkey to join eu

russsia? brrrr, tooo cold :D
Nope. I wish to never see Turkey being a member of EU. No offence to their citizens, but I don't consider Turkey to be a European state.
but EU is about money, not culture..
2010-12-18 09:41:22
that's a weak point in EU...

EDIT : definitely agree with Rubinho :)
(edited)
But it's still a European union, not a worldwide one.
