Stage 6: Abbeville - Le Havre, 191.5 km

Another course for sprinters

188 cyclists on their way to Le Havre. It's an uphill finish with a gradient of about 7%. This is a stage for punchy riders and a finish for Peter Sagan and John Degenkolb.

Daniel Teklehaimanot tomorrow in the polka dot jersey, the first African cyclist in this jersey :)

And because of a fall Martin will most probably not start tomorrow, again the yellow jersey out of the race due to an injury.

Zdenek Stybar, same team as Martin, wins this stage.

i have the feeling that toni martin wanted to fall..he looked in right, he bent but nobody was near to him..then tried again, but it's unbelievable

and the Czech rep. have a stage winner after 14 years, the last one was Jan Svorada in 2001 :)

he said he got stuck in the guys back wheel in front of him but it seems pretty weird move indeed. maybe out of frustration or something.

Chris Froome will not wear the Tour de France yellow jersey

There is no leader of the Tour de France after Tony Martin's withdrawal, according to commissaires, meaning Chris Froome will not be wearing the yellow jersey

The yellow jersey will be absent on stage seven of the Tour de France after Chris Froome confirmed that he would not wear it, despite technically holding the race lead.

Tony Martin crashed in the maillot jaune in the late stages of stage six, but continued to the finish line and was awarded the same time as his original group, thus kept the jersey overnight.

Stage 7: Livarot to Fougères, 190 km

Stage 7 from Livarot to Fougères is a wonderful visit of rural France the day after riding along the coast of the English Channel. Starting in Normandy, going through the traditional Mayenne province where the Madiot brothers and Jacky Durand, the great personalities of French cycling, hail from, the race will end up in Brittany.

Perfect for the sprinters

The hot bed of French cycling awaits the Tour for three days and three totally different stages. The first one is perfect for the sprinters in Fougères, the second one will suit punchy climbers in Mûr-de-Bretagne and the third one is an atypical team time trial with an uphill finish at Plumelec.

I hope the best wins, in a fair way. Don't know who deserves more, they all worked really hard to be here, so that's kinda difficult to say.

Yeah , but i don't like Greipel ! for a few way's ;)

some Dutch news articles and there are more.
I like Cavendish more , he is also aggressive but ONLY just after the race , when he is still full adreniline and always apologize when he's wrong.
