I would love to see the WC without the Italians. They won everything last year. Now comes Murphy! :-p

This is really funny! One can see you only know football from the last 30 years!
You should see the 1974 and 1978 finals, where the Netherlands lost two finals against the referee! The 74 game could had gone either way, but the corrupt referee decided to give Germany a free penalty. This game was a real fight for the cup, but the referee gave that penalty, and the Dutch defence gave an other easy goal to the germans. Could have been the finest final of all time.
The 78 final was just terrible.
Later the Italian referee has admitted that he just wanted to get back home alive (from Argentina) and played for the Argentinians (The first unearned title for the argentinians (The other was when God decided to taker part in the game, although it is hard to see even on replays if it was Diegos or Gods hand that was playing))
(And don,t bother to watch YT vids about the game, they are shortend and cleaned version that "prove" argentinians were much better..)
