MacBorgen is right. Lokomotiv Moskva signed Asamoah Gyan from Italian club Udineze. Another CSKA's rival Spartak Moskva bought Italian third keeper Marco Amelia. The information just appeared in one of Russian internet portals. An official information will be issued on Wednesday.
I also expect sensational buyings from Zenit St.-Pitersburg, the club which was bought by Russian largest companies Gazprom. Their head coach is Dik Advokat!
Next championat of Russia is promising to be very interesting
2007-01-23 23:29:07
So it's the other Asamoah. :D

Mentioning Lokomotiv Moscow. FC Lyn Oslo striker Chinedu ("Edu") Ogbuke Obasi was ready for the club, but Lokomotiv got a new manager, but he didn`t want the Edu. Zenit St.-Petersburg has Erik "Panzer" Hagen in the defence :) He has signed a new contract with the club, to 2009.

Erik Hagen is a good defender! "Panzer"?! Is it his nick name?

Tottenham were awarded a bye through the last 16 of the competition today!
We will play the winner of the parma/braga match.
I genuinely feel that it is harsh on the majority of feyenoord fans. Being punished so severly for the acts of a few tossers.
I also think it would have been a tough tie, and with all of the domestic fixtures coming up, Im also quite pleased with the desision!

Yes, it is his nickname here in Norway, when he played for Vålerenga a couple of seasons ago.

Fenerbahçe can win this CUP :)

What happened? And where and when?
2007-01-25 19:33:40
well, in 1998 I think. One of "fans" threw the knife and hit Dino Baggio of AC Parma in Cracow.

that was the game :

Wisła Krakow - AC Parma.

World is full of idiots.

Wisła Kraków- AC Parma 1-1(0-1)

(Wisła) Kraków

1998-10-20 (00:00)

Ref: Marcel Lică (Romania)

Att: 10.000

0-1 Enrico Chiesa (3), 1-1 Tomasz Kulawik (68)

WISŁA: Artur Sarnat, Marek Zając, Bogdan Zając, Kazimierz Węgrzyn, Grzegorz Kaliciak (89, Jacek Matyja), Grzegorz Pater, Krzysztof Bukalski, Ryszard Czerwiec, Tomasz Kulawik, Tomasz Frankowski, Daniel Dubicki. Tr: Franciszek Smuda

cautions: Grzegorz Kaliciak- Lilian Thuram, Fabio Cannavaro, Diego Fuser

*during that match Italian defender Dino Baggio was wounded by the knife thrown by the one of Wisła's fans. This accident was spotted by the TV and Wisła had to face the consequences: one year bann from the european competitions (Wisła was replaced by Widzew Łódź in 1999/2000 edition of Champions Cup) and suspension for Ryszard Czerwiec who had seen the incident and did not inform the referee. He simply thrown the knife outisde the pitch.

"Following the announcement today by the Court of Arbitration for Sport to uphold the decision made by UEFA to disqualify Feyenoord from the UEFA Cup, the Club can confirm that it has received a bye through to the Round of 16."

That's over now. Our next opponants will be Parma or Braga.
Who is it more likley to be?
2007-02-09 14:31:42
I am not a feyenoord fan... ( heh,, my amsterdamish mates told me to scream shit about feyenoord... which i didnt do)

but arbitration court is really unreasonable as feyenoord tried everything to prevent the free sale of tickets...

if i was feyenoord i would sue this whole bunch of amateurs...

i've said enough now and therefore will wisely shut my mouth
2007-02-09 14:40:07
Free sale? Contradictionary in two words, nice ;)
2007-02-09 14:41:24
Yes laugh with the dutchies...

I am a ***damn laugh :D

I mean "vrije verkoop"

So A sale without needing to have a clubcard or something else
