Subject: your favourite BEER
Belgian beers, 4 me, are the best.
I've never tried Belgian beers, but I've heard they have more alcohol than others. One bar/pub with 101 different Belgian beers opened recently in my neighbourhood, so I'm thinking of visiting this weekend. Can someone recommand me few Top class B. beers?
Btw. 101 different B. beers, is that possible?? In Croatia there's like 5 or 6 different beers :)

Here's the link to that pub: http://www.hopdevil.hr/indexEn.html
Which one of those beers would you recommend? ...just don't say "all of them" :)

I like Newcastle Brown Ale and Guinness. Leffe is perfect but blonde. Brown is not the best. Generaly czech lagers like Staropramen or Zlaty bazant, Tyskie from Poland or Lech. Eventualy Corona but not that much and I hate Zywiec and Stella. :)
btw, yesterday I bought a nice bottle of La Trappe dubbel(dutch). Very strong (7.smth %) and with no carbonate. Dark one. Not that bad but specific.
Today I'll get some asian. Asahi from Japan and thai Singha.

Wow, that pub has Keizersberg :o
I thought that was only available in Leuven at the keizersberg-site :)

So I assume I should try Duvel and Keizersberg. Any other suggestions, what about some dark beers?
Leffe brown is not bad but blonde much better :)
I doubt I'll find English beer in Belgian pub...in fact, I doubt I'll find it anywhere in Croatia :)
But thanks, if I'll ever have opportunity, I'll try it, surely

Was in Wales a few years ago and there was this "Brains Smooth" (not sure about the name though) Unfortunatly i haven't been able to get it since :'(
I'm not a fan of Duvel. It tastes strong, if you know what I mean. I find other beers of equal or higher strength better for me. I can recommend Rodenbach, the dark Westmalle and Liefmans Oud Bruin from the darker ones.
