Subject: your favourite BEER
Budejovicky Budvar and others Czech Pilsner are my favourites ;)
stella is 5.4% its export strenght here...
think you can get 5% alright
as with most imported drinks theyre usually stronger...
in terms of strong beers, there arent many in ireland..hence how some people can manage 40-60 pints a day no hassle..
know someone who can drink 2.5 bottles of yager in a night... 3/4 of a bottle of that stuff gets me twisted.. somerthing other than alcohol in it :D
why do people keep going on about vodka? this is favourite beer thread.. start a favourite spirirs thread...
would be interesting

Czech and dutch(belgian) beers are the best! Followed closely by Germany...

Belgian beers rule the world. There is no question about it.
tbh I would go for Czech as well (Staropromina if I remember correctly was really nice)
secondly, German home made beer (made on the spot, in the bars you actually drink it)
I can't really comment on the Belgian ones since I've not been there but what you guys export is crap

Then what do we export that you have actually drunk?

Stella Artois is the only one that comes to mind
but if I am not mistaken it's still produced here after your recipe
don't take it as an offence because I am sure that the "home brewed" are extraordinary

I don't take it as an offence, freedom of speech you know. Stella is my favorite lager beer in fact. It is brewed in Belgium, but also in UK, Australia and Ukraine. Maybe it tastes a little different then here, or we have just a different taste. But Belgian beer is more known for 'Trappist', a beer brewed by monks. There are only 7 Trappist beers: Chimay, Orval, Westmalle, Westvleteren, Achel and Rochefort in Belgium and La Trappe in the Netherlands. You should try them, they're very good ;-) And we have Duvel too ;-)

wow, "sounds" tasteful :P and mysterious :)

Triple Karmeliet, duvel, chimay, la chouffe, a hec of a lot nice beers
Now who has a movie with one of the best drinkers of their country, I think this guy ( in the front ) may be our representative :o
That's 8,5 l beer ... And I know he pukes sometimes, but serious ... 8,5 l !
