2011-06-24 13:31:45
No, not at all. That's a lager beer.
2011-06-24 13:32:18
oeh okay... :)

There are approximately 125 breweries in the country, ranging from international giants to microbreweries. In Europe, only Germany, France and the United Kingdom are home to more breweries. Belgian breweries produce about 800 standard beers. When special one-off beers are included, the total number of Belgian beer brands is approximately 8,700.

i usually drink about 20 on a good night out, but i'm a student so i'm pretty well trained ;)
It's not only quantity that matters ;-)

You'll probably be laughed at having an hangover after only 14 beers. I don't drink often, and almost never beer, but a nice bottle of whisky is always hitting the right spot with me ;)
2011-06-24 21:56:34
oh man, chill :P
it's just a little bit weird for me, that there in belgium you have such small bottles of beer, so one can say that he drunk X beers while he drunk X/2, i'd say, "normal" beers. :P

and by the way, don't like whisky :P
2011-06-24 21:58:54
What's the average volume% of alcohol in your normal lager beers?
2011-06-24 22:05:46
average? dunno. my fav has 5,8%, other two that i like has 6% and one 7,1%

That's rather high for lagers. Our lagers are around 5.2%. Specialty beers can go up to 11 or 12%
Indeed, that's quite remarkable for lager beer. At least it's not water like German or British lager beers :')

Now you understand we don't drink those in 0,5 l? ;-)

Especially our 'trappist beers' are famous.
