Makes about the same as a half-time in a normal job, exact amount, I must not tell. Have as many other benefits: Free Internet, free food and drink during football matches etc.. The main thing is I have free disposal of the suit and performs at birthdays, confirmations, etc., that kind of money is all mine
Have a regular job too, then season break would otherwise be too long and boring.

I have been concated by an job consultancy agency in Austria and they offer jobs in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
Is here someone from those countries who works as a PHP programmer?
I would like to know what salaries are there.
Thanx ;-)

Depends on how big the company is, in Germany and Austria as far as I know starting at about 30.000 € (if you have an university degree). In Switzerland probably a bit more but the costs of living are also higher over there.
Pretty much what VivaChe said, just be aware that they in 99% cases talk about brutto wages, they will tax your ass naked.
35k yearly brutto translates to only 1667 monthly + 2*2000 for 13th and 14th paycheck, some 24k in total.

Yeah of course brutto wages ;)
The Tax in Germany and in Austria then depends on if you are married, have kids or are single + several other things. As a single we are talking at least 30% Tax + Health Care etc.
Don't know about the Tax Laws in Switzerland.

still much better then in italy, where as a programmer with a degree you start (if you are lucky to) at 20-22k brutto wage which becomes ~1100 per month :(

Then you could look at 45k-50k like here:

But it usually starts at 30k.

We have almost the highest taxes and compete for a minimum wage
Highest taxes, please... Come to Belgium. Everyone knows taxes in Eastern Europe are lower than in Western Europe. Every single study shows us that, so don't you dare to complain about your high taxes ;-)
and that's the 'highest taxes' in your opinion? good one :p
