D&D is surprisingly good,

It would be great to watch a movie that is not crappy. Or Royal Flush is right and the quality of movies is still okay, and I am the changing factor. old and cynical :P

It's also possible that you're choosing crappy movies and then you're surprised that they are crappy

you complain about marvel movies, yet you continue watching them - why if you don't like them every time? :P

Avatar is obviously mostly about the looks, why expect a great story out of it?

65 has a IMDB rating of 5.4/10 - did you expect a good movie? :P

there are tons of quality movies, you're just looking in the movie dumpster :P

I always hope the next Marvel is what it supported to be.. unfortunately that is not the case.

And so many good movies aren't made anymore. The scripts are not good, the actors are often not that good, or just bad, money is spend on visual effects which is good for the eye but doesn't make the overall movie really better. It looks like they want to earn easy money, movies based on previous success

And IMDb isn't always right. In fact, IMDb is often too high for well promoted movies. And too low for movies that have good scripts but less visual effects.

Movies aren't what they supported to be. To use IMDb as a reference, see the top 250 movies. And that list is on all movie rating sites about the same. Almost no movies from at least the last 10 years. You can question the Marvel movies in these lists, which are newer.

I do agree with your opinion about the movies you watched. Guardians.. 3 was pretty good, I would recommend.
