I don't get it, too. I reckon that they're either dumb or naive. Or maybe even both :)
I think their extremely nationalistic or they have some autistic syndrome.

nope. I wouldn't say so. they're just naive/dumb (as I said before) thinking that some guy from Venezuela will respond to a mail in Polish ;) but I guess that those who write in Polish to everyone are younger than 15. We have far too many people below this age. And it's our problem...

Our parents was learning Russian. English is known by younger people.
I learned at school that in recent history Polish people had to switch languages often. Polish, Russian, German and Hungarian, but barely English.
Hungarian? lol. maybe a few people in ninetieth century, in Southern part of our taken territory.
Someone said that English was known by younger people (in Poland of course). As I look at my friends, I wouldn't say so.
