I got question. In volleyball, there is the starting 6, plus the one in diffrent uniform. In polish, its called a Libero. How the heck you call that person in english. My dumb vollleyball coach doesnt understand. I want to play my position !

Regarding to www.dict.pl it is the same in English.

I think it´s also "Libero". As a matter of fact, if it´s "Libero" in polish, in english and in spanish. I would dare to say it´s "Libero" in every language. :P

In football there´s position also called "Libero" that in english is called "Sweeper". If am not mistaken the volleyball "Libero"(regarding the obvious differences between volleyball and football :P ) has a similar job than the football "Libero", moving mostly freely, sweeping the court(in volley) and the field(in football) to guard his teammates backs.

"Libero" means "free" in italian, so maybe in the sport vocabulary it's call "Libero" no matter what language you speak...
