I live both in Scotland and in Poland. But my heart belongs to Silesia :)

Silesia? where is it, central europe, russia? the name sound me familiar but tahts all..

im form Valencia but my parents are fromAragon and Castilla,same as you but in the same country :]

And Silesia is nowadays part of Poland and Czech Republic, but for years it had been an autonomical region of Czech, Poland and Germany. Still Silesian people have their own language, culture, cuisine and mentality totally different than people from rest of the Poland. And I wish Silesia had an autonomy today, it's own government, national budget etc. - like Scotland. And - who knows - maybe independence one day?

I'm multilingual as well. My father is from Frisia, my mother is from Groningen, I, myself, am Frisian. I can speak Frisian and Dutch, but also some Gronings, which I always understand. Because Frisian is the cultural language we only spoke Dutch at school against teachers while we consume a lot of English by television and internet, so my English is at a very high level as well.

Nowadays I'm not living in Frisia anymore and, especially in the beginning, I had some minor problems when speaking Dutch with a lot of Frisisms.

If you visited Groningen ( city) then you visited Groningen ( province) as well, as Groningen ( city) lies in Groningen ( province)

you see i visited the city, but i didnt take any train or bus to visit any village of the province [xD].....
