In the fact, fifa 98 is best from all fifas. Worst was 01. I havent played 08 but I am sure that better than 98 will not be.
i had fun with 98, for sure. but last 5-6 years fifa and EA just keep disappointing me year by year.

There were not automatic goals and dribbles, on the other hand it wasnt chaos.
It was realisicially quick.
There were great free kicks.
1-touch passing

There were maybe all national teams, 5 main leagues and intelligent Rest of the world.
Great stadiums, also sports hall where u should play small football
Great design in menu

people i dont know why you still want to buy fifa it just suxx if you just see the facts,
i agree fifa world cup 98 was awesome specially ronaldo he had blond hair instead of bald head always made jokes about that,
fifa 2008 also had a bug where you just shoot from the middle line just near the side line, it went always in,
try to do that :)

yeah i loved fifa 98. it was the first fifa i ever got. not played fifa 08 that much, but i like the be a pro part.
i'm rooney scored 21 goals in 11 games so far =)

FIFA 99 was the best. It wasn't football, but it was great fun!! :D

Woolworths is a franchise and part of Progressive Enterprises which extends its supermarkets to Australia AND New Zealand. I think the woolworths in england may be different.
On the game scale though, PES is definitely better than FIFA and much more realistic. One of the way i rate games is how hard the hardest setting is, on FIFA i was regularly beating the best teams by 5+ goals on World Class. A joke.
