vivski to All
The browser is in beta, but so is Gmail. :p
I understand this is probably Google's fault, but it would be nice if this could be patched...

Anyone found other defects?

There have been found already many mistakes with google chrome
I think they will change a lot of thinks with google chrome so it would be stupid to make patch if they maybe gonna change a lot

You're right. I thought it may be useful to keep a record of what wasn't working.
Oh well.

@admin: can delete the thread if you like.

Try it, only takes a couple of minutes to download and setup. It's a collection of all the good ideas from FF3, IE8 and Opera 9, done very nicely. It's minimalist and of course has no plugins (like AdBlock and NoFlash) at the moment. It's certainly a good start though.

You forgot to say that when one page crashes, browsers like firefox , ie, crash as a whole and in google chrome this does not happen, you can even close the page and continue surfing. Wasting a few minutes of my life watching to those google chrome instruction vids made me learn a few things... probably because of that voice of the voice over... oh well... :)

Yeah, the browser also has a task manager to see what resources each tab is using. I managed to hang the entire browser temporarily while on YouTube, so it's not exactly bullet-proof yet. It's a good idea though.

As a developer, it's pretty cool to use the "inspect element" option to drill straight into the code.

As well as the video, the comic strip is very cool. Amazing how effective it is at getting the information across.

Of course this discussion is for the Freestyle thread, so please close this thread before we make a mockery of the whole forum. :p
