Subject: Supporters Mood Dropping...
You lost in the 4th round of the cup to a 1st division team when you won the cup last year. You lost in the league to a team not as good as you. Why shouldn't your fans be furious?
You lost the friendly 7-3 to a team 3 divisions below you. even in a friendly any set of fans would be disappointed in that.
that 7-3 was in the cup, but I payed for my league and cup results, my fans already were depressed... now they lost their hopes, after a friendly!
don't try to 'defend' this system, it's obviously that it is exaggerated

Because furious is the lowest level.
Moving from delighted to furious in 2 matches is a huge swing. I think too big a swing. Depressed would be more fair. It went up 1 level after a defeat then back down to furious after drawing a friendly which are supposed to be not important to fans.
edit: Ofcourse I understand the mood should drop just saying its too much in my opinion.

It was two 4-1 losses so you can see why it dropped so much. A lot of the reason for it seeming so out of proportion is that you had a shock result in the league and the cup in one week. If had just been one result it wouldn't seem so bad. I do feel your pain though :)
@ Anaconda- exaggerated results like you and Dandy have had will give exaggerated changes in fan mood especially for managers who did well the season before. If you look at it over a few seasons it's a leveling out as your 'glory' supporters leave once your team isn't winning every game, much as in real life.

so you lost mood after drawing with a team 2 leagues lower - what's wrong with that?
Of course friendlies shouldn't count for anything in my opinion but they always have in sokker - it's not a problem with the new mood system

that team has only 400 points below me... and it was a draw in a friendly match...
anyway, it doesn;t count for me, they can be furious, if they want...
I'm training a couple of young players, also in the league, so soon they will be furious, but I was just saying, after a friendly the mood dropped.....

The ranking seems to have nothing to do with it so the 400 point difference means nothing. It's much more likely that it's to do with the previous seasons matches and league position and last year your opponent was in division 4. In that context it's fair that your supporters would be displeased; even in a friendly.
Which explanation do you give then to those teams who have won in cup match 0-10 (not 0-1!) and have lost 3 levels of mood?
What do you expect? That they win 0-20 or 0-30? How realistic is a 0-20 game in a first round of cup match in RL? How many 0-30 do you see overall, in any competition, in any federation, in any country?

Stupid reform, not only supporters are getting furious, managers are too.

Scoring in Sokker doesn't translate to real life as you know. If a team really did lose 3 levels after winning 10-0 then they obviously should have won by a lot more. I lost a level after winning 16-0 because of the huge gulf in class in cup 1st round matches. Like Greg has said the majority of games work out fine but no system will be able to encompass that and the huge mismatches you occasionally get.
Let's also not forget that this works in both directions- was it really fair for a new player to lose huge fan mood after coming up against a big team in the first round of the cup? To say this new system is unfair is also a fallacy; all big teams are affected equally by this so it's still a level playing field. All it's stopped is teams (like me) being unstoppable once they reach the top as their fan mood never used to drop.

lol...
I draw today in a friendly match, and the supporters mood dropped... stupid system...
same here!
On the german starting site the changes are titled something like "fans becoming more intelligent"
Yeah, right!
Nice move to punish the managers, who have been playing this game for years
Thanks!

You drew with a team from the 7th division in Poland. Why is it stupid for your supporters not to like that? :)
Also - I'm guessing his supporters are quite pleased with the result which would not have happened with the old system...

Because:
1. it´s just a friendly
2. the average rating of my team was 26.6 – his rating 30.2
3. fans shouldn´t get angry, if a team of very young, talented players draws in a friendly
4. it´s just a friendly
5. it´s just a friendly
I know, that that the match rating is not a factor – what I´m saying is that it should be one
Can´t be, that old teams are punished for training young players

It's not being punished for playing young players, just making it more challenging, Ask Arsene Wenger about that :)
As for the friendly point- friendlies mean something to the supporters in Sokker, always have and always will I guess. I understand it's tough when you're playing with such a young team but if you think about it in the long term you may lose the occasional fan level but in the long term you'll do very well out of the players you're training.
