Subject: Supporters Mood Dropping...
I win my league match 7:0 no mood change
I win my friendly 12:0 no mood change
I draw my league match and -1 level
I lose the friendly undeserved 2:4 and -1 level
Now depressed.
Loss of over 250k per week.
My club is about to die and game fun is GONE.
No change to this system = no more loop
And I'm surely not the only one.

this supporters mood engine is stupid ... i don't like it ...
It needs huge changes in the team strength rating or a whole new economy system.
It can't be the case that I'm punished for every single loss or draw and get nothing in return for winning.
This is a "It's normal when our club wins, but we get mad if not" System.

Simply absolutely everyone agrees that supporter mood should not drop on a win. Stay the same against weak opposition, fine, but not drop.
Change that they pretty much please the nation.
As i understand it, ranking is not included in the new calculation but the scoreline of previous matches against teams around the same level (what this level means i'm not sure).
I drew 4-4 against a very good (skill wise) team on Sunday and went up 2 supporter levels.
I still don't get the calculation.

The calculation is easy:
If you are the best you have to win, no matter what.
You can't use your trainees because you are the best and you have to win 20:0.
Our trainees manage to win 12:0? I don't care, we are the best anyways.
WOOOT our trainees lose? WTH? This can't be, we are the best and have to win 20:0.
And it's not only the trainees as you can see on my 7:0 league match win....This system requires a win in every match if you are an old and successful club but gives nothing in return.
I'm tired of this.
Together with all the injuries and red cards, 250k loss per week, empty stadium and NO way to make things better on my own, this game has died for me.

I think the supporter mood should drop if the win isn't good enough :) But I'm not going to argue it anymore against bitter national champions throwing their toys out of the pram ;)
From the looks of things your mood want up so much because you got a result against team that came second in your division last season while you were a division lower. Most, if not all, of the calculations make sense if you look at it in terms of the season placings.
The problem is that if you keep supporters level after any win and also include the benefit for up and coming teams that you (deservedly) got at the weekend then it ends up with everybody's supporters happy all of the time. In that case why have a supporter mood at all?

It's funny, because i believe this change came about under the wrong pretences.
People, (me included) had complained in the past that it is not fair to win the league, but lose a play-off. They are hit far too hard in fan mood and supporters, and teams were purposely finishing 2nd to avoid promotion early. This wasn't right and was what needed fixiing in my opinion.
But now apparently teams that promote automatically get the highest mood and teams that demote have the lowest. WTF? That is nearly always the case anyway!
I am OK with a change, even if it does mean users have to rethink their training regime etc etc, but as it is, nobody knows the calculation, and most believe it is crap.

man the problem is that the mood drops -2-3 levels when it grows with 1 level ... so i lose once after that loss i must win 3 games in a row to make them happy ...
That's not right afterall.
What we/I want is a fair system.
It can't be that you win a league match 7:0 and have nothing from it and next week you play 0:0 and lose a level.
You win your friendly 12:0 and not a single change, next week you lose 2:4 and boom -1 level.
This is not hard to understand.
The impact of this is just too huge.
There was no warning at all and now I have a loss of 250k per week and no players to sell.
On saturday I'm bankrupt and gone.
I don't think that this was intended or fully thought out.

I think the fact that the playoff fix doesn't come into play until the end of this season was a big mistake and I have a lot of sympathy for teams who got hit with that.
Like I say the previous season league position seems to have a large effect on the calculation, everybody still seems obsessed in working it out on rankings.

i think that it would be better if at least they would leave the mood in friendlies untouched ...
You are giving the results only and when only looking at results then it seems harsh.
Looking at the results in context then it makes more sense, you drew at the weekend to a team who finished 7th last season. That's not a good result so your fans are unhappy. In the old system it would have probably stayed the same but do you really think your fans should be happy with a result like that? The friendlies are the same, they're against teams that a relatively much weaker than a quadruple league winner.
What would you suggest as a good way forward for this? Like I said, there's no point in everybody always having a high fan mood. I agree with Steaua (any others) that friendlies should be weighted a lot less but a lot of the complaints have only centered on league and cup results.

well austrian bundesliga is not that weak. 7th or not asv spratzern has about the same strength as loops unlimeted. in fact the team has been undefeated so far and lost points for the first time. even if the draw might be a set-back for the fans, the 7:0 victory the week before should have cheered them up - after all, the result was quite convincing.
Any system isn't going to be able to get an exact relative strength right every time. If this new system was changed to work directly off team ratings then people would still find a reason to complain. It's very easy to complain but nobody seems to be suggesting a better way to do this without everyone's supporter mood always staying high or having it like the old system where the top teams did well and up and coming teams struggled. In my opinion this new calculation is better than the old one, it does make it harder for the top teams but seemingly I'm the only one of those who likes a challenge ;) The benefit is now there for teams struggling to stay up after promotion, nobody is mentioning that those teams never made it oout of the bottom levels of syupporter mood and that it wasn't fair for them.
man the curent engine needs to be edited ... there is too much difference between losing and winning mood (drop and grow) ...
