Subject: Australian match times
Believe me. Staff reads the forums and are aware of this issue ;)
:) I was pretty sure of it but feedback would have been nice which we now at least are aware of :).
There is no decision about it at the moment.
When something is decided you will know for sure.
When something is decided you will know for sure.
there are always -lets guess- 10 and more staff members reading the bug/idea forum every day.
devs say they are working on it. Lets hope for the best soon :)
Now this is what I call feedback, thanks AnimalA, something we were all hoping for.
Matu, as moderators and people in charge you must learn to accept constructive criticism if you want the best for the game and develop it to something global. To do so we need users, and lots of them, and these users must feel that the gamemasters are working towards user-friendly solutions and that they listen to them. Only once that feeling is instaured I believe the majority of us will be compelled to buy Plus to take this wonderful experience to the next level, in turn enabling the gamemasters to recoup the costs of their hard work.
That is all we ask. ;-)

Hey tactics, what are the game times in the USA, if you don't mind me asking ;P
Can I ask the same question to you AnimalA, what are the game times in Deutschland?
Thank you for your responses.

Actually pretty convenient. League games are at about 4 pm and cup games a little bit earlier in the afternoon.
you can see that if you click on a german team and then on matches ;) XD
Germany - it is 13 Uhr (1 pm) for the matches on sunday and for friendlies it is 6-7 pm (I think).
I don't know if it is the case, but it may be the case that for sokker to be lagfree the match-times have to be spread over the 24 h of the day. So it may be quite hard to chance your matchtime, without replacing it.

Thank you for the info Rink. ;P
It may be difficult to implement, yes, but I don't believe for a minute that is impossible to implement.

At the moment the order of match-times in the Sokker world is like this:
- Asia & Oceania (order by id of country)
- Europe & Africa (order by id of country)
- Russia
- Polska
- South & North America (order by id of country)
This obviously shows that Asia and Oceania are a bit out of order. They are just before the European times (which are most convenient, since this is a European game originally) while the time-difference between Europe and Asia is way bigger. Could it be a solution to put Oceania and Asia at the end as well? Let's say behind the Americas, what time would that be in Oceania?

whats the sokker time for the americas? Atm 15:00:00 sokker time is equivalent to 11pm (23:00:00) AEST so roughly 8 hours behind , although when our DST starts and europe's end then it is a 2 hour swing further so instead of 8 it would be 10. As for new zealand they are 2 hours ahead of eastern australia and that means that 15:00:00 sokker time is 1am their time atm i believe. Any new zealander feel free to correct me if the timezone is incorrect.
I think last sunday the last matches played in the Americas were just past midnight (00.15 or something) in Republica Dominicana.
Last cup matches were in Venezuela at 21.36 sokker time.
So I think the matches should be earlier for you guys, playing right after the Americas wouldn't help, then you'd have your matches very early in the morning.

Right now is 18:41 Sokker time and in Argentina is 13:41, that´s 5 hour difference, and when in Poland change to the winter time, there 4 hours of difference.
Last weekend we played at 22:17 SK-time and that´s 17:17 argentinian time. And last wednesday we played at 21:13 SK-time and that´s 16:13.

Well at present is 13.43 in New Zealand and 3.43am in Sokkerland, and I apologise for not knowing all the timezones of our brothers and sisters in Aussie.
Other managers (see HT) allow for the timezone of the country to be considered for game times...why does this not happen in SK?
These are the things to fix first, and then we may begin to discuss parallel leagues etc...;)
