I think that in this case the player in offside shouldn't be there.
It seems he doesn't follow the tactics (I don't think that player should be there with the ball in the middle of the field in your tactics).

Probably it is a bug of visualization of the player, imho.

Yes, it looks like a case of "fortune-telling" players moving irrespectively of the ball's current position, but according to its future position. ALthough it's hard to imagine what "underliying" on-side position could he be at to reach that ball all alone and score :P

already a known bug - compression error which is being resolved.
