Subject: Idea - Summary list of ideas

The function of "sticky" should be added in the forums so that the list like this can be seen easily at all times. :-(

I would like to see a monthly, bi-season or even just every season updates.


Just greg or an Admin saying:

We are working on:-


We have completed work on:-


We have given up on:-


Or something like that, you know?

I agree, when will some developer or Greg say here answer (I novice user at idea topic) ??

greg rarely answers here, his first language is polish so he has accidentally offends people with poor english (or something like that).

He is more active in staff forums, and sometimes active in these forums during the summer holidays.

greg does read this forum, on occasion. However, people like me follow this forum closely. Interesting ideas are reported elsewhere.

The problem with that though is there is no back and forth. It's happened a couple of times when I've spoken with Greg or an admin that I'll put an idea forward, someone will point out a problem which I'll then find a way around, but it's too late then as they've either stopped reading or dismissed the idea after the first draft.

I believe greg doesn't talk to you after your sarky backchat during the 'General Ideas Thread'

He didn't exactly talk to me before so it's no great loss. And I only get sarky when I feel I'm being ignored or given bulls**t replies.

Don't worry, I keep reading everything that is posted in here. If something worthwhile comes along I'm happy to suggest it. I generally indicatie what the chances of an idea are. This particular idea has been tried and found wanting. Absolutely no point in discussing it any further. If an idea has some merit but is obviously flawed, I'll await discussion. If an idea is great right from the start, I'll suggest it. Last but not least, other members of staff follow this forum as well. I believe the system works fairly well, but it isn't perfect. We'll have to deal with it though. ;-)

I do remember one of the admins not long ago saying 99% of this forum was a waste of time and not worth reading. Fantastic attitude

Yeah Northern Ireland has been inactive in this game since before I signed up.

No users at all, I'm guessing that everyone just goes to England or Ireland.

It sounds harsh, but it's more or less true. Just have a look for yourself.
