Subject: »[idea]Different Nationality Juniors
Hello, Me and some friends were thinking about an idea
what if we could bring up different nationality juniors
Summary
What is going to change if this proposal is implemented:
1-New box to mark in youth school page like: International School/Scout By default: empty or "no" (both meaning the same). Cost are "*2": double cost.
2- Only if IS-box is marked "yes": 1 foreigner (visible random nationality) youth per week enter the school instead of expected home country junior. So: If that week only 2 juniors were going to get in, 1 of them (random 1/2 in this case) change his nationality (random: 1/98: we are 98 nations).
3- A new little mark (nationality/flag) is shown in juniors.php.
4- The result would be all countries gets a little redistribution of players every week: less players for biggest, plus for smallest, same for medium countries.
----
I think the minimum common idea it's staying like this. Further, some questions to discuss or to adjust:
a. That means increasing the overall amount of players entering youth schools in whole sokker?: No. It's exactly the same amount than a national one.
b. Is better to increase cost of those places with a foreigner youth? Yes, for self-regulation.
c. How much should cost those places to achieve a reasonable amount of changed nationalities in the whole sokker world? : This must be tested or simulated to get a good answer (In my opinion it should be a national double cost).
d. May happen that a team has all of his youths from abroad? : Yes. (Again, costs are important to self-regulation)
e. Benefit for the more little size countries? : Other countries help in growing players for National Teams.
f. Benefit for biggest size countries? : Option to grow up other country’s players getting more fun and motivation.
g. Benefit for medium size countries?): Both previous. It depends of each own motivations and power.
h. Must be the nationality hidden till youths is hired for first team? : No, because you'll get better motivation if you know nationality from first day.
i. Can be chosen the junior's nationality? : No, because this can be a very powerful discrimination tool.
Remember, it is not the same than buying one, because is there a player market where you can buy a trainee from the nationality you like.

yes, but I think it's not the same
it's better if we can bring them up from our own school
1. know his talent well
2. raise them our selfs
3. make it more realistic
4. they'll be from our own team

Of course it's not the same. It's probably a good idea for make the game most competitive among nations.

yes, that´s the main idea... could be good for all big nations users (more oportunities for recent users)
I think this idea came up before and I was against it, though I can't remember why. It might have been because at that time it would be difficult to track players down, things have changed now though.
Anyway
Your 1 per week thing is unworkable because it'd create too many players
Charging double would discourage people from training them, it would be better to make these players anonymous until they're pulled. (Not an option, player names would give it away)
Otherwise it's not a terrible idea and it would help the smaller nations. It would also greatly annoy people who pull a magical and then find he's not able to play for their country.

I think 1 youth per week is the same amount because this extra-nationality don't means extra-player; this is a random (1/98) foreigner young instead a national one. You can activate or not this option every week. So there shall not be more players than now.
And maybe nationality can be hidden.
Names can be as are in the country wich is the club.

Sorry, but I disagree...
If you want this, I'd suggest buying ready-pulled 16yo's from the transfer market
Alternatively, maybe form a partnership with a team in a weaker country, and take on some of their youth players, thus helping their nation... This is allowed, right?

It is allowed but not especially: you do it buying players, so under rules of the game.
This is different. Nations, like mine, with few users; can generate a bit more players because other natios (usually more powerfull) open his schools to other country young players.
This relationship between those who need and those who can rise this nationalities.
Of course tho proporcionality must be adjusted for not to dramatically change existing balance between users/countries in sokker.

The major problem I've come across, being a small nation, is that the top clubs don't want our players. This has lead to a major issue with crap clubs, hattrick trainers and idiots being able to buy some of our best young talent and then ruining them. We actually end up being punished twice for being smaller and it wasn't until recently that we've had to resort to paying over the odds to buy our own players and ensure they get trained.
But, to the other side, there are clubs who really loves other coonutry youngs and this feature may help in getting more talented players (added to existing ones, sacrifying his own nationality) for little countries, and those clubs gets satisfaction for help in developing them. :)
i had an idea like this where we could own schools in foreigh countries (maybe where there are not many users from that country for example Senegal) train them up as your own and help their NT, As well as having one from your own country.

That's actually an interesting idea but it'd have to be prohibitively expensive or you cause major financial issues. You would also have to limit the school size to maybe 10 players and it would require a separate youth coach.
yes, only the upper crust could afford it, it would cost a lot, but will give you only the same standard of junior, so no special benefits, unless you get lucky etc..
we could own schools in foreigh countries
in fact is this but simplified. if you mark: international youth school *[on] then:
*1 junior with random nationality (he enters instead 1 home country young player) enters the youth school... here you can say this school is in xxxx country
*You pay for this place x2, x3... (to decide)

well, reading all these, lets make a simplify idea... specifically what I was thinking is:
1. Help recent users from big nations (this because, how hard can it be to bring up a U21 or National Team members from Poland or Spain for example, with this quantity, it’s too difficult for new users)
2. help small nations to develop their national teams (make the world cup, friendly games, and all sokker events between nations more competitive… the same teams win all the time because they are bigger, let’s give chances to others!!)
3. make the game more realistic, that’s a big improvement.
