Totally against for several reasons
- cheating opportunities
- not realistic (teams hardly ever find foreign juniors to come to play for them before the age of 14)
- no more motivation for local managers to start junior school

cheating opportunities

in which way you think somebody can cheat!!

not realistic (teams hardly ever find foreign juniors to come to play for them before the age of 14)

actualy I think it's more realistic, many teams bring up foreing juniors.

no more motivation for local managers to start junior school

let me clear this... those who want to bring up foreing juniors can do it, on the other hand you can choose not to do it, JUST DONT DO IT!!
I think it will bring more motivation, but I respect your opinion

I don't have a problem with it, but only if there is no way to pay for extra junior places. Even if you are paying 2 or 3 times as much for a place then that is peanuts for a big club. This will create more of an advantage for established clubs over new players just because of finances, this is not a good thing in my opinion.

But if you have the option to have a percentage chance for a random nationality junior within the current system then why not? Say for example a check box that lets each new junior coming into the system have a 10% chance of random nationality. Sounds reasonable to me, I can't see any drawback to that since it's optional and doesn't add any extra youths for rich managers.

It would be an interesting way for smaller nations to have youths developed by top managers and for managers in huge nations like Poland to develop U21 or NT level youths from their own system without having to get really really lucky.

- cheating opportunities

I can imagine how.

- not realistic (teams hardly ever find foreign juniors to come to play for them before the age of 14)

Juniors we are talking about are 16-21 years old. In this times not having foreigers is more unreallistic.

-motivation is the same because the reason to start a youth academy is "football" so don't matter if there are a few youngs living abroad.

I think this is a simbiotic relationship between countries with many users and others with few users. In the middle things rest balanced.

to pay for extra junior places

is not extra junior places, is the same places. This overpayment is for self-limitation of places

This will create more of an advantage for established clubs

Don't forget that anybody gives warranty your foreigner juniors are the best. I honestly think that is a feature for all clubs in healthy economy.
If you like youth team double price is not a problem even for a small club.

It would be an interesting way for smaller nations to have youths developed by top managers and for managers in huge nations like Poland to develop U21 or NT level youths from their own system without having to get really really lucky.

That is the simbiotic relationship wich is the main reason of this feature. Thank you. :)

I think this idea is great. I don't see much point in hiding their nationality, because people will consider training players from other countries if they are a small country (whether they want to train other country players or not).

1 per week may be a little much, but 1 per fortnight (on average) wouldnt be. Say the average of juniors entering the school per week is 3, if you have a 1/6 chance of getting an overseas youth than I think that would be a good ratio.

My youthschool would then be something like

1x italian youth
1 x hong kong youth
1 x senegal youth
1x greek youth
20 x Australian
6x spare slots

That to me still seems like a pretty good proportion of my own countries youths.

The problem with a youth transfer market, is richer teams also being able to buy in the best (skill level) juniors, as juniors are really the only thing smaller teams have going for them where they are on a relatively similar level to the biggest clubs

I think the same. :)

The main idea not includes hide young nationality, it's only to be considered for reduce favouritisms, as you say people will consider training players from other countries if they are a small country.

1 per week may be a little much, but 1 per fortnight (on average) wouldnt be

well, may be you must reject a lot of players before keeping the right one. But I agree in your suggestion, random can be set in one of both ways, no problem to accept this.

The problem with a youth transfer market...

nothing changes here.

Thanks for your support. :)

I'm basically agree with this, but the only thing is - I would like that the max number of foreign juniors coming a week is 2 or 3, so most of the juniors would be still in their home-land. Why? Because, as someone has mentioned that he don't want any Polish players. I think that a really big percent of SO players don't want Polish players. This means that they all would sack Polish youths. So Poland would be soon out of youthes. It could happen with other bigger SO countries as well.

nice! :)

Main idea is maximum 1 per week

Well you get 1/98 probabilities to get a polish player. Bad luck if he is not from you want.

This means that they all would sack Polish youths

On depends... if you enter a magical youth and he is polish dons't matter: he is still valuable.

And it will really help some more countries to be stronger like Kypros! This will make the game more competive for National teams
