Subject: »[idea]Different Nationality Juniors
I guess it should be equal (ie - 1/100 for all countries?)
Yes equal, one of the main appeals of this idea is to get juniors from smaller nations into your youth school, having it weighted towards more Polish youths might be more realistic, but there are enough managers producing youths for the big countries already.
which is quite normal and - as so many times a complaint - realistic.
You can expect to have the same number of (we go real life now) spanish juniors as uzbekistan juniors ...

yes, It has to be 1/100 cause I think it's fairer, well it has to be a general decision but i see everybody is in the same page

exactly... let's make sokker more equitable

didn't read the whole thread but i can say this:
I would accept this idea with one clause only:
There is a bigger chance to have a native junior. smthng like 70% of getting one native and 30% of getting a foreigner...

The chance is ~1/6 - i.e 17% will be foriegn apparently.
70/30 would be too much. You'd end up with roughly 9 foreigners in a squad of 30.
I was going to suggest that it be weighted towards balancing the number of juniors each county get, but I think that would happen naturally anyway. Do we have an official dev response to this idea?

well, I think that could be too much... but anyway, we can change some parts of the idea if there is mayority of users supporting it

yes, that's correct...
The main concern I have it's that if we could get more foreing youth per week, the mayority of poland or spain users will bring up a bigger number of these ones instead of their own country... Maybe 2 per week can be good, but I think 3 it's too much... but like I said before, we can mold the main idea.
Do we have an official dev response to this idea?
I do not know what's the process to it, how do we know if this idea it's close to be considered?

Good job, mate. I have made a Summary of main idea:
What is going to change if this proposal is implemented:
1-New box to mark in youth school page like: International School/Scout By default: empty or "no" (both meaning the same). Cost are "*2": double cost.
2- Only if IS-box is marked "yes": 1 foreigner (visible random nationality) young per week enter the school instead of expected home country junior. So: if that week only 2 juniors was going to enter 1 of them (random 1/2 in this case) change his nationality (random: 1/98: we are 98 nations).
3- A new little mark (nationality/flag) is shown in juniors.php.
4- Result of this is all countries gets a little redistribution of players every week: less players for biggest, plus for smallest, same for medium countries.
----
I think this the minimum common idea. Further, some questions to discuss or to adjust:
a- That means increasing the overall amount of players entering youth schools in whole sokker?: No. It's exactly the same amount.
b- Is better to increase cost of those places with a foreigner young?: Yes, for self-regulation.
b- How much should cost those places to acheieve a reasonable amount of changed nationalities in whole sokker.org? : This must be tested or simulated to get a good answer
c- Can happens that a club had all his youngs from abroad?: Yes. (Again costs is important here to self-regualtion)
d- Benefit for the more little size countries?: Other countries help in growing players for National Teams.
e- Benefit for biggest size countries?: Option to grow up other country players getting more fun and motivation.
f- Benefit for medium size countries?): Both previous d,e. On depends each own motivations and power.
g- Must be nationality hidden till young is hired for first team?: No, because you'll get better motivation if you know nationality from first day.
e- Can be choosen the junior's nationality?: No, because this can be a discrimination tool too much powerfull. Remember that to give favour is there a player market where you can buy a trainee from the nationality you like.
I hope this summary of the main idea was right. If not make your corrections, please Vitojarm.

People are quite agree in this idea.
Developers opinions are needed: Is in main idea something too wrong or too complicate to be considered to implement?
Thank you all involved in this idea. :D
edit: some mistakes.

Just thought I'd up this.
Some quick calculations suggest, that this system, with a 15% other nationality system, would help all countries with less than 1000 juniors. (Assuming there are 66000 active teams, all with 30 juniors in their youth school and 100 countries).
It would also mean, that all countries (with 1 user) would have a minimum of 3000 juniors to choose form for their NT. (66000 x 30) x (0.15/100) + (country users x 30 x 0.85) = 3000 (approximate)
One thing to note, is this wouldn't change any positions in terms of who has the most juniors in the world, it would just condense all countries to make the competition a little closer.
Using the above math, poland would still have about 4x the number of juniors as Turkey who have the next most amount of users.
This is why this implementation would be hugely beneficial to sokker, closer competition = better game

bad idea cause all big teams who have a lot of money will buy all talented juniors ... and will become more powerful ... plus if you will bring other nationalities juniors you will not train your nationality juniors ...

think before posting ,dude. this is already happening, the big clubs make big money, but the nationality of the players won't change the financial situation. and if you start thinking:
Small countries (like Moldova) who have low nr of users will have a bigger chance to have great NT prospect, so the quality of all NT matches will grow.
