Subject: [bug] Sokker does not know what off side is

The off side rule in Sokker does not function well. Take a look at this match.

The offside rule means that 2 players of the other team have to be behind the ball. In this match there is only one player behind the ball and the strikers are standing off side the whole time. This important rule in football does not hold in sokker.

If this will be fixed, there would also have to be an ME change. Because when it is fixed as it should be, it would be a great tactical idea to set you opponent off side.

the exact reason why it should stay as it is. I think that sokker should not allow to play without a GK. So one of your players should be the GK if you let the spot open.

It's right.
It's not an offside bug, it's a gk bug, I mean devs. bug because they don't do anything to fix it. Never should be allowed to play without gk, if there is nobody there, the engine should automatically send one......this is the shame of this game, this kind of matches without gk.

Yes, sokker is not keeping the offside rule (in this case), I think that the engine even doesn't put the question if you have gk or not, it's already set up with the gk presence. It's nothing wrong till here, only that it should be set up to check out the gk's presence, and if he's not on the pitch, not to start the match till somebody is sent as a gk.
Actually, the engine should not to fit itself with the new offside situation on the pitch (no gk), but just to fix the gk absence, and we won't have offside bug/issue anymore (let alone that how abnormal and annoying is to play without gk).

Sokker just ignores GK for the offside rule. When there is no GK, strikers are still onside with one defender in front, with 2 GKs (see other thread), they are still offside with no defenders in front. Imho not that big problem, since both cases happen very seldom and if the first happens, you're screwed anyway.

Yes, there is a problem, why to be screwed anyway when it's very simple (and a common sense) move just to send somebody as a gk, every time you don't have him, and to fix the bug not to have two of them by mistake. It's a basic rule: no match without gk, not any minute.....just to be done, nothing more simple.

I've also noticed that when a front kick on goal and another player, the system recognizes as offside when in fact the ball did not go forward, kicking the goal.
