First of all I think something should be done with the looks of the stadium, don't think it's really nice to see and not enough options to change something.
This is my idea, make it possible to build stadium expansions and link this to the supportersmood.
For example, you have money but still loosing to many matches and supporters are becoming more and more unhappy. Besides winning there is no possibility to make the supporters more happy at the moment. But with the possibility to expand your stadium and link this to the supportersmood it can be possible to make them temporarily more happy.
The idea is that with every expansion the supportersmood goes up by 1 or 2 levels. These things could be used: a soundsystem, large scoreboards, build food and drinkstands, stadium lighting and supportershome and make this every time more expansive to buy, start with for example 50k, 100k, 250k, 500k and 1M.
And ofcourse make these expansion visible in the stadium picture :)

I like the idea that the stadium is linked to your supporters mood. I have been playing games with million dollar teams and losing every game because my team I inherited has players with lesser value if you know what i mean. and it is hard to keep your supporter base happy by losing every game
+1 If the change of name affects the mood... to make ad ons to the stadium SHOULD also affect it.
no no... I mean the team name. For me... there's still a relationship. A change in the team's infrastructure that affects mood.
Building such facilities should create a more pleasant match atmosphare, and therefore your supporters would pay slightly more to attend matches. But also these upgrades should increase the maintenance costs.
I think, it would be also a good idea, if these upgrades are downgraded by themselves in time, which simulates the stadium getting older and needs renovation

I agree... they would be like, temporary small boosts.
Enough to cope with that weird supporters' mood that no one will fix... but not cumulative or permanent.

That's making the idea to complicated (I like your idea but it's a different idea) :) This idea is just 5 possibilities to boost the supportersmood 1 or 2 levels to compensate to many lost matches. With these boosts more spectators will come as supportersmood is higher for a little while (till someone starts loosing again).
