If you loose the final the 2nd will be the champion.
Nobody knows who will be the champion, it's very stimulating isn't it.

But if you win since lore than 5 weeks, you couldn't loose the final.
It's impossible or you intentionally want that.

9 times out of 10 you win this match it's an exception.
In a championship you had already win against this team twice.
In the final the 3rd match you will play against the same team, you will win again.

The point is the kind of competition. A league is an average of an amount of matches and in this game it's impossible to make that because you can buy players all the season and your team can change a lot during the season as it doesn't happen in RL who maybe it can make more sense but still I don't think so

basketball has a completely different schedula than you are proposing.
