Subject: Appreciation for contribution to community

Sokker is interactive game like any other online game. Communication and co-operation is inevitable part of it. Yes, you can choose to play sokker alone, you can avoid communication with other users and you may choose not to visit the forum (question is if the game can be entertaining this way). But most users definitely prefer, If there is something interesting to read and to do, if there is something to get excited about. How many online games have you quit because they get boring ? People didnt communicate with each other, there was no cooperation and rivalry, there was simply not enough entertainment and things to get excited about. They became burden instead of enjoyment. This is what (among other things) causes that sokker is constantly dying.

We need more people who are active on forum, who help others, mentor new users, write articles, analyze game and do statistics, attract users to watch NT games and get them to be interested in things like championship cup, first division etc. , we need people who make the game more entertaining for others.

And we need to appreciate their contribution to comunity. For example voting for the most contributing member of community which would happen in every (with certaing minimum number of users) country at the end of season and winner would receive plus for one season. It is form of stimulus for such people and way to say thanks by community.

I definitely try to contact a lot of users in my country to get them motivated... I could use about 10 users like you to spark things up in the forums and revive them again ;)

The game IS the entertainement, not communication; communication is just a plus...
Fix bugs, add/improve features, change the "rules" and you know what .. the communication will follow.

Trust me, i 'm a huge contributor for my community, but promote the communication is not a solution.
The lack of communication is not the problem it's just a consequence.

Agreed that is not "the" solution... but at the same time that we need bug fixing and such... this is a good idea that should hopefully go "parallel" to that.
