Read the post, until you argue.

In advance, sorry for my english.

Sokker calls itself as a ‚realistic‘ game (according to wiki), but it’s not realistic anymore, when you see the match with the corner tactics. The reason to play with 10 guys in the corner is quite simple (and also understandable) – to avoid injuries. But according to the game – corner tactic is kind of cheating.

Why is it cheating?
If your player don‘t touch the ball, he won’t get injured. Easy and logic. But remember, the injuries are not plague! Injury is kind of limitation/slowing down, which is part of the game. Avoiding the aspects of the game is prohibited in any game and should be punished.

Why is corner tactic bug?
Because there is no difference between 10 guys in the corner and nice up-and-down match with nice moments. Lets call corner tactic CT.
1) Why the managers with CT get the same income from the match? In real – do you pay the same amount of money, if you see up-and-down clash and 90 minutes, and if you see 90 minutes of CT? Definitly not…
2) Why does the CT not affect fans mood? As a real fan, would you be happy to see 90 minutes of this?
3) Players after Wednesday CT get the same training as after normal combat matches. Lol – why? They should be sick after standing 90 minutes in the rain, but not training…

Corner tactic is not fair and there are some ways, how to punish the managers. Some of my (collected) ideas are following:

1) No training after CT. --- Fair enough, I think. No pain, no gain.
2) No sponsors money. --- Not sure about the effect, but could be interesting.
3) 10 % market tax (manager will get extra 10 % tax for all tranfers – get 10 % less from sold players, and pay 10 % more for bought players) --- This could bet he way.

Any developing ideas ?

How do you program these penalties? I mean, how will Sokker decide than CT was used other than admins manually checking every match? In that case, admins cannot do anything about training, only apply a fine. So they would need to contact developers and ask them to undo the effect of training for team X, which is kind of odd ,and requires super fast reaction by everyone...

Unless you can automate the detection of corner tactics (like when you set 6 mids or 4 atts), this isn't very practical...

I understand your indignation, but I think that better way is separate traning of the matches themselves. If a players play a match I agree that can training better, but a player dont need play a match to train.

I do not like the cornertactic and do not use it. (Only sometimes on request of others). But i do not think it shpuld be penalized, because i do not see it as cheating.
If you watch cornertacticmatches you will see there are not so much less injuries in total.

Besides that if you lose a friendly big you can still lose a fair amount of supportermood, so less sponsormoney and less people who will come to a normal match. With a cornertactic you have a bigger chance to lose harder.

I see it as an option that people can use, it is not against the rules, it is maybe against what some people like... but that is just another opinion. I think people should play as they like.
There are no less injuries, so why would it be a problem? If you do not like it than do not use it. your team your rules, but decide how others play... nah don't think we should work like that.

Sorry, but what is a Corner Tactic?
2015-11-15 12:59:00
it is a tactic where 9 players stand in the corner of the field, the whole match.

Oh I see, for me it's valid I don't see the wrong part here.

i think that players should have a better corelation between their field activity(offensive/deffensive) and skill training.

no activity = less skill training.

i guess that could be easy to set, and could solve that issue

and then what about the easy first rounds of cup, where some defenders dont touch the ball, and the keeper aswell in easy matches...
2015-11-17 19:25:18
no pain, no gain.

training tech, play or pass on mids... or, else: stamina training:)

Indeed.

I also don't like the tactic, used it once or twice, but managers should be free to make their own tactics, also tactics others don't like. And as long as every manager is able to use this tactic, it's not cheating.

I like the idea of more activity = more training, but then the problem adaca posted should be solved first and I don't see that happening with the inactive DEVs and their poor rate of new implementations.

So, what did i do wrong last sunday that baraj should be punished?

http://sokker.org/stats/matchID/28678093/teamID/65449
only 3% in this game for him. Normal tactic, normal match...

No, thank you.

Besides that. If you want training based on activity, i definately would play cornertactics with only 5 trainees in the field against other teams who do so. It would give so much more training that i would drop the 'do not like cornertactics' realy easy.
2015-11-18 11:23:45
lol yeah, it would actually result in 5vs5 or 3vs3 cornertactic.... just this time the trainees playing lol
2015-11-18 13:29:44
Glad to see the discussion :-)

Yes, this (5vs5, 3vs3) may be the result. And of course, it's completly unfair to GK training... I mean - no training is very big punishment for such rules violation (really, it's not about hating corner tactic, it's about avoiding the injuries in not a fair way).

I'm more in the money punishments. I think, that after such a match, the mood of the fans should be decreased rapidly (3 levels per every CT match). The system can't say, wheather you play corner tactic or not, so it should be based on reporting. It's quite obvious, what corner tactic is, so it would be easilly recognized ...

The mood can be fair enough too, because it will effect the income from league/cup matches and also the bonuses after season and so on.

How about that?

2015-11-18 18:35:02
... bad tactic. you played with 9 field players :) swtill = no training for no playing
2015-11-18 19:01:12
Who was playing with 9 players? I certainly did not do that ever...
