Subject: Transfer Price Adjustment (TPA)
- 1
I would like to get the opinion of other people and perhaps more insight in the "Transfer Price Adjustment" (TPA) system, because for me it appears to be broken in the way it is implemented right now: by taking away the money a couple of days after the transfer when it is very likely already invested, causing financial complications for the receiver.
I do understand the idea behind it. You don't want people to help others (friends irl, for example) by giving them a huge amount of money for a crap player just because they're rich anyway, that is unfair indeed.
However, it does not only target these unfair 'fixed' transfers, but also people getting lucky for other's (mis)judgement of their player's talent and people being purposely only open to high (perhaps) over-the-top offers for their player. And they can get screwed over quite badly when receiving the TPA some days later.
I do not know exactly how the system works, I do think there should be a better execution and that doesn't seem impossible to me.
