Subject: [idea] limit the number of players per team
- 1
In order to respect fair play between the teams, it is necessary to limit the number of players per team.
currently some teams can buy players who play rarely or not at all when they would be useful in other teams, and have better competition.
Of course this implies that a hall of fame (without salary or limitations) is available for the club, so that it can place its former glory there.
Assuming that a club should be able to train 22 players per week, for me 25 would be the limit.
IRL for FIFA world cup don't forget that the limit is 23 players

It's difficult to implement.
Imagine when you have "25" players and you have two juniors to pull out, or when you are bidding for many players having 24 players, What would happen if you get all them?
Anyway 25 players are very little, you could barely replace players in case of having several injuries or red cards, or when you have affection for a player you’d be forced to sell if there is not hall of fame.
And don't forget that we have 4 weeks limitation. Many problems could arise. Even with ridiculous sales because nobody can bid.
I had been thinking about a solution and the only way I see is to set a higher limit (40 like in National Team) in order to avoid teams with 60-100 players and limit bids when you have "38" or "39" players (you can only bid for two players at the same time or one, respectively).

That's an issue already solved in Sokker with the excess of assistants: they are in the team but they don't sign a contract until you have a slot for them
It's nice to use the same solutions for the same problems

In the same idea... Limit the number of foreigners for each club if...
1) your team doesn't have 30% motherland players IF your country has at least 30 active teams WITH youth academy
2) your team has 25 players or more
3) your team has bought 10 foreigners within the running season.

Good for juniors, but in auctions you could harm the seller with the tax or the unavailability of money.

The money would be sent, but the player would stay at home: no training, no playing, no reselling him until you have a free slot
