Subject: [bug] new formation view - NT coaches see skills of players they

Just in case. A bug is simple and well-known now.

New formation view displays skills of players available for user. It is ok if the user is owner of the player as it is in most cases, but apparently it was forgotten that there are also NT coaches who, due to this feature, have now access to skills of every player they have in the national team, also players which skills they should not see because the owner of player didn't share them.

is not a bug :p

Should be. If not everyone should see the skills. NT coaches could have a slight advantage in the market if they follow the player, so they can know if a player has popped a skill or not, and extra trainings.

For me this needs to be a big update for NT/U21, specially in small communities, is a thing for years we asked to sokker implements, so if they take off talking that was a bug, is just a good answer that sokker devs do not care with us that are NT coaches.

I hope Devs "dropped" the bug intentionally to see our reactions. In that case, I see much more people cheering the "feature" than complaining about it

My vote is +1 for the change :)

if it would be a feature it would be a very bad one

apart from possible exploits, the amount of work one need to put into scouting player skills is enourmous

Let's say you want to scout player A
1. you have to schedule match if there is no WC/WC-Qual and maybe even in some cases there might not be ability to schedule match; anyway it includes waiting for another NT coach to accept
2. assuming full squad you have to cancel call-up of player X
3. then you might call-up player A who skills you want to know
4. but you still does not have his skills, you have to enter some match settings and find him there
5. and you have skills after that but if player A turns out being shitty you have to cancel him and recall player X

wouldnt it be easier to just see skills on squad page, player page etc?

I cant understand how someone might praise this.

if your argument is the mechanic of see the player, is fine, if at least they put the power to we can see the skills on player page is fine... problem is if they take off this and do not implement something like that, coaching a NT/U21 is not a easy deal and a option to could see the players will help a lot specially the smallest communities.

for me the option helps a lot, even shows that i have a good eye, because i was using a keeper without know the skills becauese i feel that he was superior and with this change, it shows that i was right and i coach france that is not a small community, now lets imagine someone that coach ghana or japan how difficult is.

if the Devs had set visible NT player skills from the beginning, there wouldn't have been any complaints or discussions... But as it is (was), there's always the same annoying confrontation between NT coaches and managers not answering mails.

I guess the mood in the community will be better if we keep this "bug".

Those arguments trying to tell us we (NTs) would have an advantage because we "know" if a player has subs or not. Crap. Totally crap. Seriously.

If an owner doesn't talk to us (and there are many of them around here) we don't know if he trains a player or not. Of course we have some options that make us able to assume if he does or not...without seeing the skills. But even when we can see the skills we don't know where the subs are. Because we don't really know what he trains if he trains...until we see it as a popping...what also might have happened due to GT. Same is with skills themselfes. If noone tells us them most of us probably should be able to estimate they must have some better ones (better ones of us NTs additionally can imagine what skills they should have more exactly)....and if a NT doesn't care about owners don't want to see their player(s) playing in the NT, they will play nevertheless.

However...this one over here is the clearest +1 of all for the feature!

NTs are a feature too. Devs decided long time ago that they want to have them. So let us see what we have to deal with ;)

And if some NT coaches abuse about that ... Then admins and mods will punish him.
And all will be clear.

Finally, I hope that this bug won't be fixed. It's so good to play the national team gameplay and this makes the job easier and lighter!

Unfortunately I think that it will be fixed, why don't tune/adjuste it instead of deleting this? Maybe the skill could become visible to NT coaches after they plays at least 45 minutes in a NT match. For looking skill changes in the future, they still need to play again. Friendlies will get more meaning and could add more fun.

From what I was told, this might be closed now, as the bug seems to be fixed.
