Subject: why i win and lose supporters all the time.

my expectation every year is top half of the table. this past 4 seasons. i come 2nd 2 nd lose play off. then i come 3rd. all above expectations. . and i lose supporters. i won my first game yesterday in the league. im second in the league. 3 supporters leave. , the older system was better at least it was less fickle. and never ever bothered me. , now nearly every monday i want to smash my montor, cause i see. what i call crap.. even if a team does lose, that dont mean they are going to stop supporting a team . especially if the team you lose to is much better than your actual team . one might say, well this or that to justify what is happening. but still i feel this needs fixing. they already are giving us less sponsor cash. so every supporter is money . and they do this . sunday i beat 4 th place team 4 . 0 ,and three supporters leave. now next 2 games i play 2 nd and 1 st. i am sure to lose looking at their rating. so i am going to lose more supporters. then a few weeks winning and still losing . then we start to gain again . come to 3000 or a little more. then the end of season they all leave again and i end up 3rd. above expectations. ,this is so damn stupid .why touch what was not broken? i been the same for loads of seasons now, yet always finishing above expectation. its easy to sort it out . so why not fix it ? ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................anclub members:

I was about to post something on this myself, I thought I would tag onto this post. I am expected to get Vice Championship this season. My supporters expected an easy win yesterday night vs the Champions (totally unrealistic) and the team expected to win the league (only one). I drew last night, and fan mood dropped further to depressed and another 8 supporters left. Why is this so unrealistic?

1) You play in a rather low league
2) your reputation / ranking is only at 4500
3) you already have more than 2200


The system is not meant to target an unlimited number of supporters. It tend to a limit, which is defined by league level, strength, reputation and also fan mood.
Expectation impacts only indirectly over the fan mood.

Just for comparison, I have only the half of supporters (1100) and similar mood and reputation. My league strength might be a bit lower.
I am gaining 5-10 new supporters per week, so I guess the limit is t 1500.

Ranking has no influence

I honestly don't understand why teams are not able to have more than 4000 or 5000? supporters. I Mean...even 2nd class teams IRL sometimes have over 10000 supporters. In here the best team of the game has max half of that.
I'm a bit Fed up with the policy of having A game that "tries to be realistic" on several Points and "tries to be a computergame" on other Points. Imo...either you go one way of another, not both ways where you see fit.

Sk is has ecosystem where large part of basic income is directly related to the fan number.

It is balanced in a way that progress is not only dependent on how long you play the game.

And it is the same im reality.

You can argue if the number that is displayed should be 10x or 100x higher. Anyway, it is just a figure and does not matter.

Players and coaches salaries are also not reflecting rl.

When you play Monopoly, the cash amounts also do not fit worh rl.

It's a mathematical system judging club potential against club reality. I know in the case of wdp his fanclub are dropping because they're huge and he's like 8th in the league.

This topic is going to keep coming up until people stop applying logic to the idea that this is about "fans" and "happiness". A lot of this discussion wouldn't happen if it was simply renamed something less personal.

You are right, But I think it is nice indirect measure reflecting your long term tream progress, i.e. result against your opponents (most official games are against your league opponents) considering their strength.

Anyway, the fact that a fan is happy does not mean that total number of fans necessarily need to increase.

An SK fan is not a living cell that replicates itself.

I personally think they should change i t. .. cause it is quite annoying. especially with the low income one gets. in the week / all these new stats, yet what your basically saying are there for nothing. .they work very well when your losing. yet not so well when winning. cause of the division your in .yet if you get promoted, your probably going to lose more matches. your fan rating gets worse, and you start losing even more supporters. hehehe. ,funny that
