N 2367 seats under roof, 10 EUR
W 3854 benches, 8 EUR
E 3606 benches under roof, 8 EUR
S 2362 seats under roof. 10 EUR
Weather: partly cloudy

The spectators' distribution for the benches considering the weather look weird to me.
Can anybody explain this?

I think the rules explain this more or less.
Fan preferences
Not every supporter likes the same type of stand. Some fans prefer seats, others benches, some others prefer terraces and others prefer to stand on the grass. If their favorite place is sold out they are likely to buy ticket for a superior stand but they will refuse to go to an inferior stand. Depending on the weather some supporter will buy a ticket only if a roof is available in his preferred stand.

I don't get it. How does this explain that benches under roof have a higher preference than benches without roof - especially under rainy weather conditions?
In case of benches vs benches under the roof from your case, it's probably rng which caused benches to "win". But I am guessing.
The difference is way too big for rng.
Roof over benches should minimize the loss of spectators due to rainy weather. This way it doesn't make any sence.

the only explanation I could imagine is that benches and benches under roof are two categories, and the benches were filled with spectators from terraces' category - not the benches under roof.
But that would be quite an odd basis for calculating.
I haven't noticed such odds with seats and seats under roof - maybe just because lower bench category was not sold out in those games.
I thought that the roof is just canceling the visitors' loss of bad weather for a specific category, i. e. benches.

I wonder, which are the specific categories in which supporters ''choose''? terraces - benches and seats? Or terraces, benches, benches under roof, seats and seats under roof?
And in the first case, are roofs only a subcategory with a preference for dry places? Cause this makes a big difference in the distribution of the supporters, because in the first case, the supporters will tend to ''choose'' the dry places and in the 2nd case, they will ''upgrade'' their terraces to benches, because benches are the first higher class above terraces and benches under roof is considered higher than benches.

Has always been strange how spectators works. Never made any sense and apparently still doesn't.
happened again with partly cloudy, drizzle
Anybody an idea, why benches with roof are worse than without roof?

What are the absolute available seats in each section? Are they all identical in size?
It might be just some added randomness, so that you cannot exactly calculate the expected number of spectators per game, or else it would feel to deterministic and rigid. Is it always like this for you, koka?
Still, it should never be distributed more for the lesser place in bad weather. Either there's something wrong in the calculations on how and when a supporter chooses a specific spot over another, OR there's a bug somewhere that prevents supporters from coming because they don't go to the benches under roof section because there's still room in their preferred spot without a roof, but because of the weather they choose not to come. Either way, this needs proper check up to see if everything works as intended, and at least there should be a plausible explanation on why things work as they do.
no, only in the reported two matches.
In other games, it was distributed as expected -
Last 3 home matches were all at same bad weather. 2 were distributed as expected, 1 shows this odd distribution.

I made awareness of this long time ago, not surprised to see nothing happen
