Subject: GK kicks ball from where he gathers it
If this ever was implemented in the future, gk running out to get balls etc could be partially based on PM (as well as speed)
That's what we want. For the goalie to be able to read the game a bit better and make better decisions on what he sees, not what he is programmed to do.
look this i want to do that in sokker thats possible?

I'd like my goalie to take that risk if it meant he could cut off some dangerous through-balls.
Yeah, pm would be a nice addition to the keeper's skill-set. Like I suggested in a previous post, erm. ;)
After watching a couple of NT matches today, I got the sense that this (where keepers kick from) is being tweaked.
Anyone else notice this? Or am I seeing things? :)

What exactly would have been tweaked? I watched 4 NT matches today and I can't say I saw anything differ from the ordinairy...

Apologies. It was just my imagination. I think I better start drinking coffee again.
I think i've noticed a few changes as well. Mainly in the forwards. Your keepers kicking was awful today though. Also have they introduced backpasses? Just before half-time my forward challenged your defender who knocked it back to the keeper, who instead of picking it up, just kicked it straight up the field.
I saw more backpasses this weekend, than i've seen in my sokker carreer. And I saw some goalkeepers kicking the ball further than normal. So it's plausible.

I reckon this topic's still got legs. Anyone else got ideas on how to improve the goalie's movements?
Having a keeper with Brilliant pace, i think he's quite slow :-/
Today, again, I conceded a goal in the following manner: The goalie leaves the goal to obtain the ball about 10 m to the side of the goal, near the goal line. So far, all well and good. Then he moves back in front of the goal, and back out again. Then his kick is awful, straight to an opponent player. It would have been a bad pass even if the goalie had been in front of the goal, but since he is way off to the side, the goal is wide open for anyone to put the ball in if they can get it.
Now this was only a training match for me, so there's no big issue. It just looks _really_ stupid and takes a little bit of realism out of things.
