Yay, I got ANOTHER goal from this bug in my league game this week. 48th minute.
If a goalie is low on pace then that's even more reason to stay close to goal.

Would be nice to see the keeper kick the ball from near the penalty spot.
and would be nice, if the keeper kicks it to an unmarked player or at least to one of his team mates.
imo, this has nothing to do with passing skill, allthough it should (my kepper has outstanding ps). it seems that he only tries to kick the ball to the kick off point.

While they're at it they m ight want to improve shot accuracy, improve throw in, make goalkeepers dive, have one-time goals etc. This game is unrealistic in a lot of ways, but its fun and goalkeepers aren't always perfect in real life. How many times has my keeper spilled the ball and let it go between the legs on FIFA? Goalkeepers are the most difficult part of the game to design. They're movements are different compared to any other player on the pitch. At least they've got most of it right. Maybe this new match engine will improve things.

Good passing is not enought, I have a keeper with formidable passing, but his kicks suck, going to the opponent or the sideline...
my A-team GK has poor passing.. And his passes are quite okay if you ask me :-)
Well, you should take a look at my goalie :p His passes suck like hell and with that high passing, I just don't get it
with high passing (mine is outstanding) i'd expect that most goal kicks go to my players and not to my opponent.
passing has actually no value for goalkeepers with the current engine.
Well, you should look at one of my matches (except the one of today because my B-keeper played), you will notice that his goalkicks are horrible, I don't quite believe it sometimes
What would be nice is if the goal kicks were taken from a bit closer to the middle of the goalie's box. It's a long way to walk back to cover the goal from a poor goal kick. I rarely see goalies take their kick from the very edge of the box.
