Subject: [NT] Griever & Cerb

GRIEVER

Introduction

Hi! As you all know Cerb and me were the latest NT-coaches of New Zealand.

For the new managers, or the old, my name is Stijn or in english pronounced Stan. I'm from Belgium, 22 years old and addicted to soccer and sokker ;-)
It's my 8th season in Sokker, started playing november 2005. This year i made a fantastic season in Belgian 2nd division, I ended up at 1 point from 3th place,
wich is good, because i probably have the weakest team of the whole 2nd division :P (not proven)

Last campaign

When me and cerb started as NT-coach, we had the qualification for the WC in mind.
We made that objective, and i'm very proud about it. However, I must admit that the tactics couldve been better at some points (yes barhilo, throw ins, i will improve someday :D)
The main reason was that Cerb had the tactics page on his account. This time I want to stand up as NT coach (again together with cerb).
But now i will have more time over the week to make tactics and scout better. Cerb will be in charge of the playerdatabase and arranging friendlies and also help me with tactics of course :)

About the matches, the draw against danmark was critical, with a little more luck if we had won there, qualification would have been sure sooner,
but with the win against Italy we qualified on a magnificent way! The match after against Turkey .. well, that couldve been a lot better.. I admit


Also, I would like to hand out a special thanks to Seca and Barhilo for analyzing the matches and point the finger at what went wrong and where we could've done better.
I appreciate that you tell me at what points we have to pay special attention and allthough it wasn't allways that good, we will try to remember the good advice and learn from it.
I would also like to thank bbal and all the other managers for the support and for the great experience last season.


Upcoming WC

Now, what it's all about. From what I have heard, we will probably end up in a hard group, countries like poland or belgium .. It would be nice if we could have the opportunity to finish what we started.
I'm still full of ambition!
Maybe with some tactical surprises and a little luck we could beat another big country!! New-Zealand may be a small community, BUT they have some damn good players :)


Communication

I know that New-Zealand is a small community but it's important to communicate with the managers.
I would like to let the managers know that my mailbox is allways open and if there are any questions or remarks about anything that they can allways send a PM!

CERB

Hello NZ,

Basic information
you all know me as Cerb, the uber friendly guy from belgium who happens to be the NT coach of your fine nation.
Now its time for the elections again, This time we are going a different direction. Griever goes for the votes and i'll be second coach.

Who am i?

I'm Nils, a 25year old Baker from Belgium. i've got loads of time on my hands and am addicted to sokker/soccer ;) I think its the greatest sport ever invented :D

Tasks

My task will be, updating player stats, getting a decent u21 team going, and letting new managers know what to do witht their youth accademy!

Griever already said what the objectives are with the A team so i wont go into details there :) thats his job now (if we win)

Other stuff
And i know, last time we made you a promise, if we qualify for the WC, we would do a jig and upload it on youtube... Great news, we are working on it.. but it takes a little more time then expected, don't worry, it'll come :D

I'm curious why you are changing the "banner". Ie., last time you guys ran under Cerb's name - why Griever this time?

Good luck guys - I think you're the best choice. I was thinking about trying again but when I saw you running again I thought twice and saw that it's very important to continue a work you started.

Did cerb has express agreement on campaigns with its utilization of ?

it's just easier for me to work on the tactics during the week, i am logged in on my account 6 to 8 hours a day, so i can make more time for the NT, simple as that :) also Cerb pm'd all the managers for the player updates, we talked about it on msn and agreed that this would be the best option.

I never got SK mailed :P.

Although I have always done updates when pops happen anyway!

yea because of easy people like you when don't have to do overtime ^^ but then again, who needs updates of watts, he's allready the best defender in sokker

GL guys, u rock & did very well last season. A 2nd season with you to 2 starring would be the proper choise to make.
