I was born i Hamilton in 1986 and I had 4year when I move to Poland, I move here because my Dad is Polish.
ehm...the rules said that everyone coul run for each national team...so please don't be so angry with stranger candidates
I am merely expressing my strongly held belief that the coach of the National Team should be a New Zealander.
It's unfortunate that so many users are trying to take advantage of the fact that New Zealand is a small nation to get some personal glory. I am certain that the same thing is happening to other countries our size, such as Nigeria.

NZ users will decide if they want a NZ coach or prefer a foreign one...
However i don't run for the NT to increase my glory...I'm consciousness that National Coach is a very binding commitment and not the wish of a man who want to feel better than others

Moreover I wanna explain you other 2 reasons of choosing a foreign user:
1) he would not have any advantage in calling one player in NT instead of another one (like a NZ user has)
2) he can tranquilly be in possession of National player's skills without the risk of forging matches between his and others team. Knowing the main characteristics of a player in fact you can study alternatives tactics, basing them on your more knoweledge of the opposite team.

The same can be applied to other games (i.e Hattrick). I would hope that voters would be able to tell who is trustworthy enough to manage the team without that occuring. In fact, it's probably a rarity. It's a non-issue, really.

Knowing the skill of, what, one or two National Team players in a club team would have few advantages. Sure, you know the skill of the player, but not the tactics which the manager will employ.
