Ladies and gentlemen ! Who am I kidding ?
Gentlemen,
First of all we have some official announcements to make. As most of you already know Griever is the new coach of New Zealand. The intelligent and handsome Cerb will assist him. The extremely competent Cerb will be responsable for the youth players too. Because the community wanted more information about the team and the upcoming matches I was asked to write pre-match reports.
Some new friendlies have been scheduled. You can find the list of friendlies and the new requirements here.
The World Cup starts next week. This Saturday is the last friendly we play for at least 3 weeks, hopefully more. Because of the risk of injuries almost all regular first team players will be given a rest. Bodger and Kilkenny are injured. Matt Gilbert is suspended after being sent off against Australia.
The opponent this week is Macedonia, in Sokker better known as Makedonija. The country is often referred to as FYROM (Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia). It was a part of Yugoslavia until 1991. Macedonia shares a border with Greece, Serbia, Albania and Bulgaria. The capital is Skopje. Almost 100 years ago Mother Teresa was born there. Another well known Macedonian is Alexander the Great. Alexander must be the idol of the Macedonian coach. His name Bukefal is derived from the name of Alexander’s horse Bucephalus.
Bukefal’s team is Liverpool Mijak FC. He plays in the Prva Liga (The Macedonian Premier) which he won last season.
The pride of New Zealand (Griever) has already landed in Skopje. Too bad for him this match is played at home.

Can i just be the first to say this result is from our new ME and we, in fact, should've quite easily won.
Nah, you were lucky not to loose after a pass of Makedonian mid, or def. Appreciate it.
Havent watched the match but i thought 13 shots to zip pretty much says it all =]
i just can't believe it, we were like 85 minutes on their half and still no goal after such big occasions, pff incredible =( oh well .. i did see some good thing though, except the throw ins, i know, think i'm gonna take some lessons on that :)
that result looks hard done by. Now this is a case where you can say that was one you deserved to win ;). Least that's not the world cup yet so you've got time to rectify things and qualify from your group stage. Another approach is well there's the bad luck game for the season over and done with ;).
hehe, thanks for the kind words :) hopefully next match will be better
I thought the other team teams defense and goalie were good enough to keep us out. Not bad luck really
you must be kidding .. so if we have 15 chances to 0 every match with brilliant strikers and we don't score it's not bad luck, just a good goalkeeper :) lol
edit: that's it! root on the bench! ^^

Well you're not playing us so it's ok :p. Seriously though, it takes a little bit to learn to get a grip with throws, but it's often under looked by a lot of managers. You learn about varying throws and marking key throw areas, the tactics will become more consistent and you'll be able to control games a lot easier :).
Saying that, you'll still get the odd match here and there where throw ins were horrible ;).
Enjoy the world cup, wish we were there, but we'll have to make do with the MWC instead, and all the best for the season ahead.

cheers mate, GL in the MWC for you :) I overchecked the throw ins 2 times, didn't see any mistakes, but when i see the match they are not standing where i putt them..
yeah, thing I've learnt is they genuinely are deeper in the game then in the tactical editor, can cause a few issues, then you've also got the odd td issue where they might be slightly out of position.
