Subject: League Matches

Well, I won 5-2 against spcblue. Watching the match, I thought I had the upper edge, but it seems the stats suggest otherwise.

spc scored a nice long range goal in the 77th minute, but 3 goals in the last ten minutes sealed the match for me. A bit of a harsh score, but alas..

Cikini also won, as was to be expected. I'm now in 2nd place, 1 point behind him. Drop some points, eh!

Interesting result for your match, bball. A solid performance from Johnny Bodger for a 11 Wise Men win.

i expect nothing less than a solid performance from Bodger. If he does do less he does not eat for 2 days and nights.

On the other hand, i have found a suitable position for Gary Page to excel!! :D

I'm attempting to watch my match now, but (presumably because of dial-up speed), it either takes several minutes to load, or no players appear on the field.

Finally got it to work, and it was definitely worth it.

Janusz Sobieski scored 6 goals and an assist, with Alegrete getting the other 3. Their goal was a bit dubious (a long range strike against MY keeper?!).

Very surprised to see 11 Wise Men lose again! Millionairos' audacious formation paid off very well..

Bodger clearly is unreplacable. It was a crazy tactic by Millionairos. A solid victory for me. MY GD is too high to be beaten by Fiery Tigers. I have to win my next game to win the premiership. I play Unbelievers.

yeah, my tactic relies a lot on bodger and i didn't have enough time to create another :(

I beat barca club 10-nil. My players had a few long range shots - one from near the edge of the centre circle that nearly went in in the 28th minute, and two long goals in the 63rd and 64th minutes. Gordon Atkinson had a great game at left midfield, firing in 3 or 4 dangerous corners and a few crosses too. His lack of stamina (hopeless) was pretty noticeable in the second half, though, but then again, so was the rest of my teams'.

They conceded quite a few free-kicks just outside the box, although none of them were converted ;)

Congrats on winning the Premier again bball. AC Cikini won his match as expected (only just!), so it looks like I'll be spending another season in Div II. NEXT season maybe!!

Scoring in the 87th minute towin 1-0 is not what i call a comfortable or fun game :s :P

Drew 2-2 with Wallingford. Pol Lodewijckxs was crap - he lets in far too many goals for a player of his apparent "skill".

needless to say i am pleased with this result. I knew i wasn't scoring any goals, i'm glad that my team preventing him from doing so.

Good to see that bball drew with Fiery Tigers too, so this sees One shoot to the top of the table after the first round :)
