Nah, I'm training technique at the moment (mainly for John Ozbey). Pol could possibly be Belgie's sub keeper if I trained him, but it'd be at the expense of the rest of my team.

If some nice NZ trainee comes along, maybe I'll buy him and base my training regime around him. Alternatively, I could wait until the end of the season (where hopefully I will finally promote to the Premier), at which point I should have maybe $1.2m to spend on a defender.

Selling some players has definitely improved my team! I probably shouldn't have sold Greg Dawkins though, so he could continue to get trained.

I still reckon your gk was the ultimate buy. Obzey is 25.. it takes 8-10 weeks to train a 25 year old I think. Can anyone confirm?

So maybe training the young keeper like next season would be really good for ur team. What a damn pity he is not new zealander :( and pity we dont have a defender trainer anymore!

if fiery tigers sold me Alan Hird, i reckon he would be able to go to defense training...

hmm snowy: if you move the two wingbacks back a bit in line with the two central defence it would be quite hard to pass through. ;) Ac Cikini has some nice defenders.. there will be a tough nut to crack. Probably the best defence in NZ now.

hell yes, but i knew i would lose before i even began, lost my star middie (Hugosson) when he was playing in the national game due to injury. Also it has been a crap weekend as far as games are concerned :p

John Ozbey was too defensive (28% defense!), so his creative juices weren't fully utilized. I've got an easier match this weekend (no offense!), so maybe I'll experiment a little.

Well I'm happy with my result. 2-nil win over cashmere, goals coming in the 79th and 89th minute :/

Dariusz Żewłakow had a great game (18% off, 29% def) with some incisive passing and nice tackling. Also scored an assist.

barcelona club held AC Cikini to a 1-1 draw (hooray!), which definitely helps my cause. Wallingford beat Wise Men? :O!

having Bodger in your team is a good thing, but it cant win you matches all the time ;) Wallingford town has two NT defenders... The premier is getting nice and competitive. Barhilo is still in position to win the premier if he goes hard for the next games...I still see Fiery tigers and unbelievers as my biggest threats :/
