Hello,

everyone, I decided to be a candidate to become coach of the National Team.

Who am I?

I'm a boy, 18 years old. I play sokker since 2006-08-11. I'm also someone who tries everytime to reach the goal I wanted. I like to play sokker and went to the last meeting in Belgium to meet some other managers.

What coach am I?

When I make tactics I first take a look at the opponent and the way he's playing. Afterwards I decide to play offensive, defensive or a mixed type. With a national team it's necessary to have a crew, otherwise you will have to much work. People can look to their opponent and give their different views, a very important thing! I like the other people of the crew to be of New Zealand because they know their players the best and their qualities.

Where do I play?

I play in Belgium, in 4th with my team 'the smoeletrekkers'. Next season I want to become champion and go to 3th without qualification match

My objectives with the national team:

* Try to get good results
* good contact with coaches who have players in the NT U-21
* searching new young talent in New Zealand
* searching coaches who like to train the young players so they get better skills

My statistics (chronological)

* season 1: second in 5th with one lose
* season 2: champion in 5th
* season 3: champion in 4th
* season 4: champion in 4th
(bought a new young team)

* season 5: 4th in 4th
* season 6: 6th in 4th
* season 7: 4th in 4th

(made the decision to train midfielders)

* season 8: 5th in 4th
* season 9: champion in 4th (lost qualification match in extra time, I was definitily a better team for the first 90')

Results in elections:

1) 0 vote in sénégal
2) 2nd in Singapore (2/6 votes)
3) 3th in Belgium
4) 3th in Belgium
5) 2nd in New Zealand (1/3 votes)
6) ??? in New Zealand (U-21)

How does I know New Zealand?

You think I looked in the list and find this country. No I didn't. Actually I live in West-Flanders: Ypres. During the first world war New Zealand helped us. I saw it in the course of history. Your country was involved into the war of Passendale, where a lot of soldiers died. Now people can visit a monument to remember the soldiers who fought there.

I'm also a great fan of LOTR. A triology who was taken in this country and won a lot of Oscars.

Do you have Maqoma's ringing endorsement? Only then will I even consider voting for you.

Yes,

for him I can try to become coach here, and when I have to ask something about the NZ - NT U21, I'm can always contact him.

I already met him twice at the Sokker Meeting, great football player :)

Some interesting questions:

Question 1:Why and motivation?

I'm candidate because I like to have a first experience with a national team. I also started my own team with very young players so I know how it is. I looked after them well and now I played champion. In the beginning it was difficult because I had to search players who had some talent and their price needed to be acceptable.

Question 2:Choose U18, U19, U20 or U21 if you're able to do special?

Every player I select needs to have the chance to play, when it's a young talented player I let him play if the coach wants it. Because when he plays more matches, he will have more risk on injuries. I will absolutely have some key players who play a lot of matches but even they need to get some rest.

How will I play with New Zealand?

I rather think I more play defensive and try to go on the counterblast. I play defensive because the country mostly has the weaker players and it's important not to have a goal against. In other ways it's important that the attackers don't run to much so they can use all their energy to beat the opponents goalie.
