You should mention that result in Sokker Australia forum:)

Why bother, it's only U21's :p. It's probably the first and last time you beat us in U21's ;). Beating us with your Senior NT, well that's different again but from memory you're basking in former glory days when searching for your last victory over us.

it`s actually the second time at u21 ;)
and for the NT, don`t worry...i`ll try to fix it this season :P

I don't think so ;D

Few fun facts:

1) Well, you never beat me. We played four times and NZ always won:) Yes, it was long time ago, but still I will never forget.

2) Just checked both NT´s history and surprisingly NZ has played 8 times in World Cup, Australia only twice.

New Zealand > Australia

PS! Morocombe`s team is a bot, so don`t remove him from NT.

You would have thought Australia would have qualified for the WC more really given both NZ and Australia started at the same time in SK.
2011-10-29 13:26:29
almost a quarter of the players in the squad are from bot teams...
besides that, he`s a legend and i will hold him until other younger players will take his place
for the moment, we don`t have such thing that should deserve my attention

Exactly, it was a huge surprise for me. But I guess about in 20 seasons from now Australia and NZ might be even:)

I think it may be a struggle for NZ to qualify for a WC again unless user numbers reach about 100. I think that is about the lowest you can feasibly get away with to qualify for a WC, but that will still depend on a good manager and good players.
2011-10-29 16:19:39
and if the number gets up to 100,you do realise that it will take several years to form a good generation...usually you don`t get good players in the first 2-3 seasons
now there are 29 users but how many of them are active users? how many of them actually have a youth school

and al_thore seems to be abandoned the game...terrible loss for the community and the national teams
hope i`m wrong again
2011-10-29 17:19:55
If all 29 users would be active like normal users and keep their junior schools open, then it would be possible to qualify to World Cup even with these number.
2011-10-29 17:25:20
..and Australia has 81 users; how many active ones? Well only 6 participated in the elections. That´s rather low. But I guess many users didn`t decide or forgot to vote.
A long time i have had an idea to start training and playing with only NZ players. Right now don`t have a guts for that. I enjoy having world class trainees and top team.

that`s what i`m planning to do, but only in defence...i have 3 decent defenders...i need 5 more
this week i`m going to buy 2 more

You'd have thought so. The big advantage NZ has pretty much always had over us until recently though were world class strikers. Bodger,Hird,Morcombe to name a few and given most sides back then had weaker squads, you could get away with a lot more if you had superior strikers and a strong keeper.

In saying that, you still have to get there and NZ have certainly outperformed us in qualifying for world cups. Hopefully that changes but I think it's going to be unlikely as both countries are losing active users and not really having too many sign up. I think we must be down to under 20 active users atm ourselves.

spin to spin
victory against slovenija :)
though , they dominated us in the first half and had many occasions to score
now, we only need to win against cyprus to qualify in the 1/8
