The friendly match with Sakartvelo end 1-1 draw.
We dominated the match and generally we seem good. But I'm not satisfied about our attackers and wing performance, they wasted a lot of chances and made me mad while watching live. So we were a little unlucky.
Generally we were mostly with U20 guys and rival were generally with U21. So result is not that bad because of this and both teams are close to each other on rank and value but I've always like to win, I don't like to talk about excuses and I feel a little sad not to win this.
Main gains to me: Thinking about make some changes on tactic and try new things on next matches. Also looks like It would be really good if our U20's get some stamina before world cup groups. Especially second half our stamina lack seem clearly.
Have a nice weekend all :)

We will mostly play with our 18-19-20 y.o. guys against cameroon U21 for train them to next world cup groups.
Won 3-1. Our 18-19 y.o. guys looks promising. I tried different tactic but I didn't like it on the pitch.
another disappointment with the seniors today.
I don´t know, whats going on with our forwards.
Reid is so weak meanwhile, that it seems, he isn´t a real forward now.
He hasn´t got a manager and maybe his striker skill dropped with his age.
nevermind the ratings. it is just a matter of placing the players.
Our team would be able to make 75, but they won´t play better then.
So, I´ll make some changes in def and att for next week now.
hope it will get better.
I have a lot of trouble this weekend. So I cannot write more about the match.
see you next week

it`s a decent result, and playing the u20 generation is a good idea, but you should give the 21 yo players a chance too, and try to make some points for the next season...you don`t want to start from the 5`th pot again
that was a bold tactic...you dominated the game, but somehow lost 3-1...sometimes it`s not bad to take risks, and with a little bit more luck, you could have got a point
My opinion on the squad, it`s kinda weak, the players are out of form, old, dropping in skills, and you don`t have a lot of prospects coming from behind, so if you manage to finish 3`rd on this group, it would be great
the last time NZ was that weak was when I managed the team, 10-12 seasons ago...besides Reid, you don`t have any other decent striker, not a lot of good defenders either...the only 2 compartiments where you can say you don`t have as many problems is midfielders and keepers

probably NZ will have another chance to qualify at a WC in like 4-5 seasons...the last generation of u21 was really good, decent strikers, top notch midfielders, the defenders weren`t bad either, the team only lost 1 game in 10 from a difficult group, and finished really close from the second place...
U21 won 3-2 against Singapore. Nothing much to say, after 2 goal average we made player changes for extra training on youths and match end with 3-2.
Very strange match with the seniors against England.
Every our players were on the correct position. They had good chances and when the opponent gets near our penaltyzone, there were always 2 or 3 players, who attacked the english forwards.
the problem was, it didn´t matter. the english players passed by as if there were none.
and our forwards again seem to be unable to strike against divine keepers.
my only hope is, that england had only high-riders in the team and our team is not too old and skilled down yet.
However it was frustrating to watch our players to do their best and could not resist nevertheless.
The injury of our keeper at the first goal was hard, also that our best defender was still suspended.
But was this worth 7 goals?
It would be much easier for me, if I could see the big mistakes in my tactic, but I can´t find them so far.

Today we lost against Guatemala 2-0. We were much better on statistics but we lost. I'll work on it.
and here the seniors
ok, the fans expected a match with not too much shame upon our team,
but we dominated the match
and therefor it is a bit disapppointing only to play a remis against France
this 1:1 is no use to man or beast
Australia and England are far away now

Cheer up! Nevertheless a good match of the NZ seniors. Maybe there is still something in for you in the rest of the season.
U21's key player Leon Edge is on transfer advertisement. He will be very important for us in next season. I asked his price and owner said 3m euro. I wanted to let you guys know.
