But the right-side tactic does seem to work quite well.

Gained more points, but the overall rank didn`t change. We definitely need to win next week against Island and week after that afainst Eesti. 30th place isn`t that far anymore.
Will see what I can do.

You should be able to get there. A 2nd seed is pretty important these days given the number of groups.

I have matches against Island and Australia, where we definitely must win if we wan`t to get there. Then we play against Eesti and Suomi, hopes are not very high there. Will be a close call. Any idea, when the groups are made...is it on sunday on week 1?

Thought it was sunday of week 0 actually but it could well be sunday week 1.

As far as I remember the draw should take place one week before the NT elections end.

Did some calculations and you are probably right. I also think it should be sunday of week 0.

My goal has been accomplished - we are 29th. Now we have to try to hold on it for next 4-5 weeks.

still 120 points :p. You won't be catching us this season unless you manage to thump Estonia this week and us the following week. Plausible but unlikely ;).

Least at this stage we won't need to worry about drawing each other in WCQ's.

As I mentioned earlier, Island got 80p for winning Belgium. If we manage to surprise too, then anything is possible I think. And If we really win this weekend, then we can be very sure, that won`t drop out from top 30 anymore before the World Cup qualification draw.

Quite true, I did state that it was plausible :).

One more game to hold on and we get the 2nd seed for WC qualification draw. We are 29th and if we drop on place, then we are still good. If we lose next week against Finland, then we should lose very many points, because they are ranked much higher.

Also we have to hope our closest rivals won´t get good results - Especially Uruguay. They lost to Greece yesterday, which for me was quite surprising. If we lose next week and Uruguay, Bosnia, Norge all win, then we are out.

but we're still ahead :p. The wins you've had against USA and Finland have been impressive. (Even if the Finland match you put a brick wall in front of the goals ;).) Was a good match to watch.

Who knows, maybe next week are even closer. I am playing against Singapore, will use my B-squad, but should win it anyway. If you lose, then will be interesting see who is ahead:)

Yesterday there were many moments, when I just started to laugh, when Finland failed to score a goal. Really interesting game.

I hope you will the elections. It´s nice to see you writing few posts here every week.

Btw has Australia been always ahead in rankings?
