great match by bball! i am surprised that you used the same/similar tactic again because it was so abysmal last week, but it seemed to work pretty well this week! Nailed a lot of their chances and yeah, very well done

The result is very nice! Slovensko is a great team and difficult to play with. In the last weeks, we saw that NZ has talented enough for playing good against mediocre teams. Can't w8 to see the next games :)

well. First. Slovensko used the same tactic as we did :) Their problem is, we have better defenders :D hahahahahahahaha (I'm guessing) thanks to MR Snowy and some other fellows.


Our defenders were offensive tools. They were the playmakers. Our defenders were positioned High up so they would be more offensive and they will be able to hurl longballs down to our fwds. I have to work on it.

It's not the same tactic btw. Did some very minor changes. see the defenders are higher positioned.. This is to enable a bit of offside. It worked. We caught nearly 7-10 offsides in the game.

I'm Stoked to beat Slovenia. We are probably going to go to the top 4 battle or something. Unless austria beat slovenia. by more than one goal. We'll wait and see ;)

Yeah, I counted at least 6 (maybe 7) times when they were caught offside. It was quite funny.

It was actually a pretty good tactic to use, as their strikers weren't particularly fast. Our defenders did brilliantly to shut them down, too. Good stuff!

It's amusing to see the Slovenskans claiming their strikers were fast..

Snowy11 I am very sure a long time ago we discussed about the future of the NT team and we came to an agreement that you should train defenders :) Remember? You were training midfielders like me but u switched to defending. It's paid off big ass time. ;)

Yeah, I got lucky with Greg Dawkins. Unfortunately, his new owner doesn't seem to be training defending :/
